Hero hotkeys are nice, but I wouldn't use any function keys other than F3 since some people use them already. F4 pans and cycles the camera to each of the player's town halls, which is useful for things like larva injects.
Do heroes units not automatically have hotkeys when you tag them as heroic? And can you force hero units to have a different hotkey from the player-specified hotkeys?
I have all my heroes bound to CTRL+(1,2,3,4...), F3 bound to Warp Gate, F4 to cycle bases. I don't use those hotkeys often enough that it'd really be a huge problem but I don't like the thought of a map overriding my hotkey setup
Also, control groups are a very easy solution to that hotkey problem
(side note, I don't think this has been fixed yet - if fixable at all - but your custom music still plays even though I had the music muted.)
My original point is that you don't have to check the Hero flag, you can use control groups for that functionality. This is mainly to avoid conflicting with commonly used hotkeys. And I'm just speaking from what I've seen, but people don't typically click the hero button.
What the campaigns and co-op do, and what I'd suggest to do, in lieu of checking the Hero flag in HotS and LotV is making a hero frame in the top left with a status bar and icon.
Alternatively, since that can get cluttered if you control a lot of heroes at once, you can create a dialog somewhere with buttons that select your heroes, since that won't change the hotkeys.

Just did mission 6, nice mission, suggestions/analysis down below
* You should remove the Mothership from F2, since is a flying base and nothing more
* Since is not a macro mission, it would be wise to have less cooldown between warp unit usages
* Is ok that i can fuse ascendants into archons and then have archon invincible during the final boss fight? I also don't see the point of ascendants on this mission since they can be butt*ucked by the reavers and the boss on seconds
* I think that terrifying sound better of terrifically, just an idea
* It's said "Feelings" instead of "Feeling" during the roast battle with Alarak
* How about using Diablo prime evil portrait from heroes of the storm for El Diablo?
* I think that the AoE spam was a bit excessive during the bossfight, can't confirm it for sure since i had unvulnerable archos but it was still close even with this glitch, there should be a bit more time to escape from the AoE spam imho...
- Fix the bugs that sometimes cause the custom music to overlap or turning off after loading a save file during boss fight.
Wrath of the Tal'darim [The 2nd release].
- Fix sound bug that sometimes turn on/off during gameplay. - Change delay cooldown for army building from 30 seconds to 15 seconds. - Significantly change the difficulty of the boss fight. - Fix the bug that cause Archon to gain permanent invulnerability.
This is a very entertaining mission. The terrain is beautiful, the use of Tal'darim as protagonists. Obtaining resources for new units. All very well done.
These are what I would suggest. - Your gladiators do not have portraits when selecting them. They keep the portrait of the previous unit. - The beginning cinematic. After Alarak kills the Ascendent. Instead of the gladiators turning around one by one. I would turn all at the same time and put the picture of all the units present (Vanguard, zealot and blodd hunter). Alarak (Lower Left), Zealot (Lower Right), Blood hunter (Upper Left) and Vanguard (Upper Right). I think it would look better. -In the final cinematic. At the time of exploding, I would set the screen blank. As a way of demonstrating the magnitude of the explosion.
Those are my suggestions. But again I say that is a very entertaining mission.
- Thank you, I got the inspiration after I saw your time convergence map 8 - Siege of the cathedral. That is one cool hellish looking map you got there, and after I saw it I decided that I had to make one also.
- Well, I am using other *.m3 model for the portrait. Could be what cause the bug, I will have to hit the editor and see what could cause it. Perhaps I will have to revert to the original zealot portrait if it can not be fix.

As far as I know, when a unit is Tagged as Heroic it will automatically gain F3 - F7 shortcut.

I've check it, the 'Heroic' or other attribute mainly serve as a validator for weapon or skill.
Example : +40 weapon damage to 'Armored' units
While the Hero under unit flags will give Icons shortcut to heroic units on the bottom right corner of the screen and give F3-F7 hotkeys.
Sadly I can not find a way to change the F3-F7 hotkeys.
I've also tried to mute the custom music as redlerred7 reported.
Seems there is a bug in the system that refuse to mute any custom music added to the map.

There is a pesky bug with the custom music player. Sometimes the music overlap, sometimes the music won't play after loading a save file.
Right now, the only way to prevent it is to restart the map and complete it without loading a save file.
Currently hitting the editor on what cause it and how to fix it [if it can be fix].
