    posted a message on How do i unlock WarCraft 3 formations ?

    Patch 5.0 notes mention them and they are even showed on the anniversary trailer but i can't manage to find them, only thing i know is that they are supposed to be located on Triggers

     

    • StarCraft II now supports formation movement, which can be turned on/off for each player via triggers.
    • Unit can move and attack in a square formation with predefined separation distance between them.
    • Currently, this formation movement won’t force all units in formation to maintain the same movement speed, which is different from the War3 version.
    • Modders can tweak this data to customize the behavior.

    The only thing i have found on Triggers so far are these two section about UnitPathabletoUnit/Point, i am pretty sure that's not what i am looking for but that's as far as i can go for now... Did anyone found the magical WC3 Formations location? If so i would love to know it aswell, thanks in advance for the eventual help

    posted a message on SCRTGW - Deception Feedback Thread

    Deception is the first and only map that is not based on Mass Recall maps or other fan remakes (we don't use MR maps for Enslavers 1/2), it was exclusively done by me (terraining and cameras) and Zarxiel (triggers, data and cutscenes), so there are some things that don't work perfectly but the map is overall working well.

     

    If you liked/disliked the map and want to give us some feedback/criticism/suggestion/ideas... this is the place to do it!

     

    Hope you'll enjoy our efforts, as i said before there are some bugs (like traps that don't return into walls if you run away from them) and my terrain is not an EvindL, Dudki, njordys, Razorcas/Aciddragoon god-tier level of terraining, but we are still very happy of how the map ended up looking and playing.

    PS: We are aware that MR did its own version of Deception, but we found that out like two weeks ago and way we wanted to create our version from scratch anyway

    Usually it opens a menu for every data value i want to change (like terrain textures), but suddendly i cannot open these menus anymore, all i can do is write new values as a text, i don't know if i accidentaly typed the wrong key or what is actually going on

    What hurts me the most is the incredible amount of wasted potential, all scrapped in order to recycle assets with Hybrid Dominator and Behemoth that barely look different from a Hybrid Destroyer/Reaver

    Congratulations on finishing the campaign, i still believe this can be the best campaign on sc2 ever made, even superior to "Perfect Soldiers" trilogy, i promise this here, one day i will play all the missions i have left, record them on YouTube on Brutal of course and write eye bleeding text wall feedback posts... After all you even made a mission on my brithday day two years ago (what a coincidence it was :D)

    Is there a way to fix this? 

    We need to use this model for "Eredas" on Enslavers Dark Vengeance Mission 2, it's really an amazing model but on our map is bugged for some reason, i don't know if it's because we want to use it with standard lotv dragoons on the same map, on the STARBOW map it works perfectly fine, but on our map the team color textures are bugged and the ones on the front are not correctly rendered... 

    Is there someone that know how to fix this? Is this a map problem or a model problem? Or maybe i am doing the import incorrectly? Thanks in advance if someone will help us with this :)

     

    Was i allowed to take this model? Robear and GN stated that it was free for everyone but, was never released on SC2Mapsters for some reason so i had to take it by force from a STARBOW map

    As we know "Deception" and "Resurrection IV" are 100% canon, but the wiki doesn't make any statement about Merc2 being actually canon or not, i alwais had this doubt about this mission, does anyone remember if there are proofs of it being canon or the contrary?

    This does mean that I have updated all missions with these models, as well as several other changes. See the full list of changes below.

    • All Missions: New, unique models and wireframes have been made for Maxwell Reeves, Morganus Krayen, Jared Malrick, Ivan Crowley and Harris Arrow. A new portrait has also been made for Harris Arrow.
    • All Missions: Loading screen has been updated to coincide with new Hero models. In addition, a brand new loading screen has been created for Mission 01 "Mindless Creatures".
    • All Missions: Loading screen text has been moved slightly to the right.
    • A21, A22, A23: Flashback images for cinematics have been altered to coincide with updated Hero models.
