The idea to use the shield was quite clear to me, even without it on the loading screen. What was not clear though was the idea that you could utilize the shielding strategy more than 2 or 3 times before running out of energy, which made it seemingly impractical. The line of thought is basically: "Sure, I can shield once or twice, but what then? I'm out of energy, not to mention there's a noticeable cooldown that may prevent me from using it when I really need it anyway, therefore a better way to avoid that attack must exist that I haven't found yet." This is why I suggested removing the energy cost of the Shield ability (leaving the cooldown) to make it clearer to the player that it needs to be used consistently at the right time rather than something that cannot be counted on when energy runs out.
You've mentioned that the fights end up the same way time and time again so one could eventually realize that Mira (the Medic) gets targeted exactly three times and that's where you use the shield, but that is incredibly unintuitive as I would never expect a boss to target the same attacks on the same person regardless of where I moved them. I think it's fair to say most players would assume it's either random or it would attack the closest person (neither of which is true). Hence, using the shield at the three exact, correct moments is not really a "normal" strategy, but it is one that works the best after testing and reloading many, many more times than I did. I like that Edhriano is introducing us to different kinds of fresh boss fights, but I disagree that there is any sort of obvious pattern or strategy to this particular one.
On a separate note, I quite enjoyed all of Mission 4 that I just played!

But I see your point. Most players won't be able to figure out what the intended strategy for this without constant save-scumming. While I consider this one of his best boss fights, it isn't without some very big flaws.
Your suggestion would help, but it would be to the detriment of the next few boss fights where the strategy doesn't revolve around using shields at specific intervals. It makes the later missions easier because the ability has no cost and disintegration is too powerful of an ability to be the only one that costs energy.
I really like the remade version of mission 1. Here's why:
I like the changes to the terrain, especially the change from brown/deserty to green/foresty but still a bit dry. I think the doodading was really good too I like all the trees and critters! I thought the difficulty was good, not too hard or easy for first mission. The boss fight was fun, it was hard but not too hard and I only lost once (thanks to Mira Kel). I am happy the fire like attack does not do too much damage/more easily avoidable than in jayborino's video.
As a first map for the campaign i think it is very good! Although I got hooked in jayborino's video so I can not say much more on that.

Stranded on Krydon Renewed- A renewed version of Stranded on Krydon that is being constantly updated, has improved visuals, is more friendly to new players, lots more fun tweaks and much more planned to come.
I played the remake and im not the bigest fan of the titleset. Its mostly due to it being a WoL one. At this age some of these textures are quite outdated.
Played it on hard and it was quite challenging.
Pros
Like the interaction of the characters. Story is simple and will involve/unfold over the course, which i like.
The story also has a nice balance between humor and seriousness.
The heroes have nice logical ability's. Its never feels op which is nice :D.
Liked parts of the boss fights. Some parts....
Cons
Some parts like no indicator of when he is going to attack, makes this really hard.
Ben ar has very fragile stats for a meele unit. Which means he can be left aside most of the mission.
Yet again i get param value bug from mission 3 and beyond... making me unable to play your missions, i downloaded all the campaign three times and still get this bug, goddamnit, i will have to watch them on Jayborino channel, i am so lucky to have a sc2custom campaigns youtuber on this world
I think my old video still works, but it's been simplified by Blizzard. There a localization menu somewhere that allows you to check your locale, which should fix it AFAIK

I've done some modification on the maps, mostly on Ben Ar's rebirth scene.
Fix many grammar mistakes here and there.
Add few hints just before boss fight, hopefully the player can figure it out on how to deal with the boss with those hints.
Also, delete the section just after getting the xtals back. Now directly go to ending cutscene.
