Description:
You have crash landed on the hostile, jungle, infested world of krydon. You and 0-3 other SCVs are the only survivors of the crash. You must gather resources, explore & find abandoned structures to survive Zerg attack waves at night & find a way to escape or Conquer Krydon! Stranded on Krydon Renewed is a renewed version of the original Stranded on Krydon created by Nagnazul. Because I really like Stranded on krydon I decided to create my own.
How to Win
- Win by seeking rescue, finding a way to escape or wait 50 min until the end.
Tips:
Gameplay tips:
- Avoid the bottom right corner, there are lots of bad guys ready to pounce, only engage when you are ready.
- Explore with scanner towers or flying command centers/resource stockpiles.
- Use your SCV's laser gun (right click)
Basic tips:
- Use your SCV to construct defenses against nightly Zerg assaults.
- Scout for resources during the day. Minerals gas and hatcheries are auto-generated.
- Escape or conquer Krydon before you are overwhelmed.
- Once your SCV runs out of HP you have 60 seconds left before or die (you will lose unless there are other players that are not dead) unless SCV is repaired/healed by any means.
Advanced tips:
- Find Protoss outpost and get the probe (it can: teleport across map, build some Protoss structures, the structures can build a powerful Protoss army)
- Kill all Zerg hives and hatcheries on map! (Advantage: fun and no more attack waves)
- Find factory (it can: build MULEs with no timed life to mine minerals).
- Find fusion core (required to build big berthas)

Play your map, difficult in fun I must say.
One question, did you use Kabomers? And if you did, what weapon did you use for him?
Ok I did and did not use kaboomers. I used it in different project, which is very similar, but just harder. The project is Stranded on Krydon Renewed EXTREME! (project page: https://www.sc2mapster.com/projects/stranded-krydon-renewed-extreme) the difference between the two maps is a big script file, icon, loading screen and some triggers. Ok so back to the kaboomer. I did not create the kaboomer attack, it is currently in the allied commanders mod which you should not use because it causes lots of glitches. The kaboomers should be released to the hots dependency soon, or the units (not just the models) should be added to the Left 2 Die mod soon.

I have discovered a problem. I forgot to tick the 'always use the latest version' box when using my mod and can not open SoKR properly. There is also another problem where I can not see the mod if I search for it (and it's 2 backups). I am uploading this new version for anyone to try and figure out how to fix the problem.

Good, I'm glad you find my map extremely exiting! I am also very happy that I have gotten someone that played the original interested in this one too! No problem, I love making and developing SoKR/SoKRE and it's wonderful when someone like my map. So thank you!

I should be releasing a new version of SoKR tonight (or early in the morning for all you Americans). I just need to adjust SoKRE for SoKR. The only diffidence between SoKR and SoKRE (apart from an extra E) is a 5000 character long script file, 2 triggers and the name and description, other than that, same.

I should be releasing SoKRE this weekend! This is why I have not released a new version of SoKR last weekend, and I might not release a SoKR version next weekend either, but there will be SoKRE! I am also so happy SoKR now has over 1000 downloads!
