Description:
You have crash landed on the hostile, jungle, infested world of krydon. You and 0-3 other SCVs are the only survivors of the crash. You must gather resources, explore & find abandoned structures to survive Zerg attack waves at night & find a way to escape or Conquer Krydon! Stranded on Krydon Renewed is a renewed version of the original Stranded on Krydon created by Nagnazul. Because I really like Stranded on krydon I decided to create my own.
How to Win
- Win by seeking rescue, finding a way to escape or wait 50 min until the end.
Tips:
Gameplay tips:
- Avoid the bottom right corner, there are lots of bad guys ready to pounce, only engage when you are ready.
- Explore with scanner towers or flying command centers/resource stockpiles.
- Use your SCV's laser gun (right click)
Basic tips:
- Use your SCV to construct defenses against nightly Zerg assaults.
- Scout for resources during the day. Minerals gas and hatcheries are auto-generated.
- Escape or conquer Krydon before you are overwhelmed.
- Once your SCV runs out of HP you have 60 seconds left before or die (you will lose unless there are other players that are not dead) unless SCV is repaired/healed by any means.
Advanced tips:
- Find Protoss outpost and get the probe (it can: teleport across map, build some Protoss structures, the structures can build a powerful Protoss army)
- Kill all Zerg hives and hatcheries on map! (Advantage: fun and no more attack waves)
- Find factory (it can: build MULEs with no timed life to mine minerals).
- Find fusion core (required to build big berthas)

Can I please have some more feedback? I see those downloads numbers go up but no feedback. I don't care that it seems too minor, pathetic or is not worth my attention, anything helps and is greatly appreciated! And for those people who don't like people asking for feedback, I'm sorry, I need it.

Big bertha always looks smaller and is smaller
Fixed some XP reward texture issues
Added cheat/debug codes (you can guess someof them now)
MULEs can harvest vespine (no more auto refineries)

-added the multiplayer reward XP skin to the supply depot, overlord and pylon.
-made texture size of big Bertha smaller. (It may look smaller but may still take up the same amount of space)
-added abandoned city on the edge of one of the sides of the map
-partially fixed the problem where the SoKR file size was 22mb big.
-may have fixed some minor things (tesla, rescue beacon and big Bertha build state)

Oh my god, I finally beat SoKR on Brutal (purifier ending)! It was so hard!
Yay! 200 downloads. Now I would really appreciate some feedback!
I uploaded a new update for SoKR, the changes are:
-added the co-op missions dependencies (may come with some bugs)
-given the auto turret a new actor/texture, it may come with a construction animation i'm not sure because i can not test my map right now.
-fixed the issue where you would own some mineral pickups around the map.
-changed the starting area so it looks more 'realistic'.
-added more of info on how to play on starcraft.
Hi, to anyone who wants to play SoKR with me. I should be able to in about 2 hours and 10-20 min. I will be in Americas, just use the I game chat or the Stranded on Krydon Renewed chat.
If anyone wants to play SoKR with me (for any reason), I'm happy to. I will only be able to do it on Tuesday (if your Australian) (if you are American it would me Monday I think). If you want to just send me a private message or PM. I will need a few hours to work on the update for SoKR tho. So I will need stop after 2-4 games (depending on the length).

Future plans of SoKR:
• I am thinking of changing the difficulty and adding more difficulties as well.
• Adding more units
• Fixing the bug where sc2 crashes when you quit or leave the game. (I find that it is best to play the game not in full screen. If otherwise ctrl-alt-deleting (task manager in case you do not know) it then then 'ending the task'.)
• balancing
• Changing loading screen
• Maybe Giving the SCV some upgrades, it may be from acquiring abandoned building or getting protoss tech or maybe the 'level up' hero thing, both or something else if i or someone else comes up with an idea i like.
• Maybe endless vespine geysers and auto refineries (upgrade).
• making the probe a shared unit, the main problem i can think of of is who gets the recourse it mines?
• change auto turret texture so it has a build stage
That's it for now, unless I come up with anything else or someone has an idea that I will use.
First of all Stranded On Krydon is a great map and the Renewed version is a great map as well. I played a couple of games of the Renewed version and I was completely blown away by it. First play through I played it by my self and I almost beat it feels very beatable for single player experience. Next time I played through it with a Full Team and we were forced to beat the game via building the transport ship other wise we would have needed to wait out the game for an entire 8 days because the timer glitch up and put 210 hours of time on the countdown timer. Other then that This game is very fun to play.
I wonder who will be the first to say their thoughts of my map? :)
I fixed the transport ship bug where it does not have the warp button to warp off the planet (which is one of the three ways to win)!

I have released it on battle.net on Americas, South east Asia and Europe. I may have fixed the glitch with the skypiecer/reaver and the observer/adept but I am not sure because i do not have a very good computer so it takes about 10 min to load the map but my play-tester which i refer to as alpha will test it soon.
I need help! I have encountered glitches that I am unable to fix. they are:
Forge creates adept when observer is built.
Robo bay creates reaver when Skypiercer is built.
I Have removed the button from the command console and the ability in the ability thingy (it is right above the command console) and it sill has not worked. But in the meantime i have made the reaver and adept useless
I will release it on battle.net on either (for me at least because I live in Australia) Tuesday or Sunday.
I have updated Stranded on Krydon Renewed. I have fixed some bugs and made some improvements. Change log: Fixed bug where Science facility could produce infested terrans, aberrations and infestors. Fixed bug where forge could not produce observers because no cyber core. Made less barricades at the start. Renamed and made Krydonian/Zerusian Needler harder to kill. Made 'glitches' useless
Bugs not fixed: Forge creates adept when observer is built (adept is renamed to 'glitch') Robo bay creates reaver when Skypiercer is built (reaver now renamed to 'glitch')
