can some one pls help me with a easy tutorial or with a some link for one...and sorry for the english...tks
Under the Items data type there is the Basic: Equip Behaviors field. Use this to apply a Buff type behaviour to your unit that adds your weapon under the Weapon: Modification - Weapons - Weapon field. Then create a Model type actor that uses a SOp(Attachment) type SOp to specify where on the model to host the actor (make sure the Hosting: Host - Subject is set to the _Selectable alias) and under the actor events use a Behavior type event leading to a Create action.
hi...i read this in other post...but the true i cant understand the idea...maybe for the languaje...can u just post a picture where i can find these field or table...it will be of great help for me...tks for the reply
Before you can attach anything to a unit you need to know if said unit have an attach point (place where you could attach an item).
There are several possible attach point, with hand right / left to be the most common attach point.
I had a problem in the past, i was trying to make an ultralisk breath fire but since it it didn't have an attach point in it's head the breath come out from the ground.
Hold on, i go look for the topic, be right back.
Found it, it even have screenshots, check it out for yourself. It may be useful to you.
True this kind of projects depends a lot on the models used for your actors. Some will need SOp(Local Offset) SOps but those can be factored in using actor events and terms for the unit type.
