You could just move the flame projection with offset actors since the head is always in the same place relative to the hardpoint or center point. I do this often in my campaign
Here is a model for the primal ultralisk with a head attachment point, in addition to extra attachment points on the shoulders, hips, and tail, if you want them.
Actually the tutorial by OneTwoSc should be valid. In there he attaches a turret to a unit and makes it launch attacks from a site on the weapon of the turret.
Except in the example I gave the attached model is invisible and offset so it looks like the main actor is performing the action.

You also can use offsets for attachment point to position fire point more precisially. If you dont find reqired attachment point you wish, check closest and move it with ofssets.
hm.. sorry about the offtopic, but how is that a primal ultralisk? Blizzard retconing that zerg traveled the galaxy, integrating various alien life into the swarm?

Play the HOTS campaign. It was meant to be Amon took the primal zerg of zerus and unified them under the overmind that he could control. He then got his minion duran/narud to get the terrans to make the hybrid that could then use the kala of the protoss to manipulate them. I admit the final 3 missions did get a bit confusing and lovecraftian.

Hello sc2mapster how are you.
I am having problem with creating ranged fire breath attack for primal ultralisk.
Basically I add the helion flame weapon and make the ultralisk do spell animation each time using ranged weapon.
I have been trying to make the ultralisk shot the flame from the mouth / head but, no matter what I do it will always from the ground.
I've tried search the forum for solution :

First does the primal ultralisk have a head attachment point?
Second have you checked the events of all three actors involved in the flame are linked to the effects of your effect tree?
Third check the Art: Missile field for an inappropriate 2.

open the cutscene editor, load the primal ultra model, and somewhere there there is an attachment point list, it should list the ones available

As stated above host a Model actor at an offset with a Site actor attached to it that you use as a launch site.
