Thanks for reminding me! I need to finish Skyrim. Even though I've done 80% of the quests, i've finally did the quest where you walk up the mountain and talk to that dragon. So after 500+ hours, I've finally started the Skyrim main storyline lol.
I've heard mix reviews of Skyrim remaster. I'll just install the original and learn more about Skyrim mods. Here are some mod lists I keep seeing on reddit: http://imgur.com/gallery/qFjEh
Well I don't get to play much else other than SC2 or making my map, but I will go with what I played before I started my map (mostly)
Ok well first I would 'rotate' between my games, got board of one, moved into the next.
Civ 5
Civ beyond Earth
Spore
Mass effect (s)
Bioshock (s)
Minecraft (only with my friend that plays nothing else other than minecraft)
Kerbal Space Program
Portal(s)

Stranded on Krydon Renewed- A renewed version of Stranded on Krydon that is being constantly updated, has improved visuals, is more friendly to new players, lots more fun tweaks and much more planned to come.
Caesar III is a very good game, I play it every other year.
Currently playing Civ VI. It's fun, but AI is still stupid, and they didn't change the engine, so it inherited lots of inconveniences, everything is so slow. So, will remove it soon and happily return to "fuck other people games, I'll make my own" state.
How is Civilization Beyond Earth? I've heard mix reviews in that its just like Civ V but renamed items to sci-fi items. To me, all civ games are the same so whats wrong with that? Playing a sci-fi version of Civ would be cool, is it worth the buy?
I play Minecraft A LOT. I didn't want to mention it unless someone did. I am currently looking for a Minecraft server to play on but I'm looking for people to play with. Maybe us 3 can play on a server?
Spore didn't seem appealing to me - didn't really like the creepy crawly alien things you can make.
I have kerbal space program i still need to start that up.
I'm gonna edit the original post and provide pictures and brief description of games people have mentioned here.
I've tried it. It's fun, having the sci-fi setting. I just go to war, so no problems in the diplomacy for me. It's just like any other CIV game.
You build an empire, taking all the resource you can get, build and army, and rofl stomp the CPU players.
The time you spend building up is quite linear in CIV BE, unlike CIV V and VI, where you get a feel for when you progress through the ages.
Research, it also quite linear, though the three CIVs mentioned do suffer the same problem, CIV BE suffers the most.
The atmosphere/theme of the game is very cold, dead. Something about it feels strange, as if there's no life.
It's not challenging at all, imo. No need for strategy, just grab, build the plots, and repeat. I got bored with it on my first playthrough, and didn't think of wanting to get back and finish the session.
I don't know. Definitely get a demo or something before you buy. It's quite risky.

Whatever you do, wholeheartedly, moment by heartfelt moment, becomes a tool for the expression of your very soul.
I really like Civ beyond Earth, it was the first one I played and I like it because it is diffident from the rest, it is simpler and some new mechanics. I like it a little more than Civ 5.
I really like minecraft, I don't play it very often now, because I get board of creative quickly and don't like doing survival single, but with other people it is great! I would be happy to do the server, i don't usually play it on a server.
Ok I understand, I think spore is a little cartoonish, but I love the evolution aspect and the space stage, it is good because it is like several games made into one, an RTS stage, a third person shooter (kind of) all split into the evolution of a race.
I really like kernel space program, but it lags to much on my crap computer for me to play it to much.

Stranded on Krydon Renewed- A renewed version of Stranded on Krydon that is being constantly updated, has improved visuals, is more friendly to new players, lots more fun tweaks and much more planned to come.
Well the first thing you should consider getting is obviously the improve atmosphere / realistic graphic. Making the environment and gameplay to be stunningly breath taking [assuming your pc is up to the task].
The second thing is the companion mods, there are like hundreads of companion mods for you to choose from.
The third should be the weapon and armor mods, many beautiful weapon and armor mods out there. I am sure you will find at least one to your liking.
The fourth will be the house mods [got to love those houses].
And the last is the "fus ro dah' mods, giving you arrays of awesome dragon shouts.
On my third playthrough of skyrim. Second one on legendary difficulty. I tend to delay doing the main plot until I need to get to solsteim for the azhidals set and black books. Do not forget notches pickaxe from the mountain peak for even more rigged damage.
Endless legends wears thin pretty fast. Winters become longer and more frequent and the immunity to winter perk of heroes is pretty much a must. The cult because of only needing one city and getting troops from neutral villages is by far the strongest race. The rpg quests are also very unbalanced with +75 damage hero weapons being able to be obtained from the start if the player is lucky which is enough to steamroll any army early on.
Civ Beyond Earth is more like a mix of Civ V and Civ VI where most wonders are still built inside the city and every units require a constant supply of a strategic resource to maintain. It has a simplified military like Civ VI but spies are overpowered being able to steal technologies from civilisations that they do not even have themselves.
Why only FFVIII and not FFV, VII or IX?

The atmosphere/theme of the game is very cold, dead. Something about it feels strange, as if there's no life.
It's not challenging at all, imo. No need for strategy, just grab, build the plots, and repeat. I got bored with it on my first playthrough, and didn't think of wanting to get back and finish the session.
I don't know. Definitely get a demo or something before you buy. It's quite risky.
Whatever you do, wholeheartedly, moment by heartfelt moment, becomes a tool for the expression of your very soul.
I played Skyrim on PS3 and I just got a copy on PC. I want to learn more about Skyrims mods, can you recommend me some?

Stranded on Krydon Renewed EXTREME- A modified version of SoKR with much harder difficulty.

My projects : The Hammer of Dawn, Noir : Automata, Noir : Evolution, Noir : Ascension, Hammer of Dawn Revamp
Many awesome projects : Custom Campaign Initiative

Why only FFVIII and not FFV, VII or IX?

misunderstanding, didn't want to post all Final Fantasy games otherwise id just make a separate thread about it.
I bought all the digital downloads.
FFXI and XIV are MMORPGs with a pay to play model like WOW.

@Wsciekly83: Go I've heard about the success of Blood and Wine. the Steam page has tens of thousands reviews and its rating is: Overwhelmingly positive. Lots of ppl recommending it and that its worth the price. I've played the Witcher 2 but haven't started Witcher 3 yet.
I am currently playing Sim City (2013) and I bought City skylines during a sale. I'm gonna try it out eventually.
So I played Elite Dangerous and boy those are confusing controls. I heard that it is really fun playing Elite Dangerous VR style. If I get VR, ill try it with Elite Dangerous.
