I'd love to know who from the modding community is going to be there so I can actually meet the people who make these games. Let me know if you'll be around and we'll arrange a meet-up.
Flight tickets getting there and back were too expensive for me, tho I will certainly be there in spirit, can you summon my spirit? that might cut down on flight costs ;)
I bet it's going to be crazy busy but it would be cool if we could get a google hangout session. If there's going to be an SC2 or Heroes Tools panel, that's what I would want to see.

What would you guys want to see at the show?
My favorite part is questions section. The freakiest nerds are gathered at blizzcon, and it's a pleasure to watch them asking their caricaturally meticulous questions.
In my opinion, nothing is a waste. I'm sure you've learned at least something valuable while making maps and games that you can use somewhere else! ;)
I have to say, the first few months of my first programming class I've been taking have been pretty easy due to my time within the editor lol (and the class has also helped me find a few new nifty tools within the triggers)
Okay sweet, so it seems there will be a couple of you guys there in addition to the RTC winners. We'll definitely need to plan a hang out. I'll be at the community booth on both days so we can meet in that area. I'll update this thread with more details when we get closer to the event.

Let me know if anyone else is coming!
I'd be up for a meetup, too bad there's no formal mapping stuff happening, :-P.
Hey Traysent, I'm kind of curious about your experience of actually using the editor. I wanna play a Traysent made map! And if you're more of a marketing guy, I'd settle for something on par with the map made from the blizzard intro mapping tutorials :)
Okay so there sounds like there will be a decent group of people attending so we're going to schedule an Arcade 'mini-talk' at 2 PM till 3 PM on Friday November 7 at the Community Corner between halls B and C. The format hasn't been determined but most likely it will be focused on talking to you, the developers directly.
I am not a developer at all in regards to the editor. I just talk to smarter people then me to try to help you guys when you run into roadblocks. I'm great at playing maps though. =)

Oh, this is cool. Time for community to create a list of questions to ask/issues to discuss/things to ask for be implemented.
Who are the delegates again? Hope that discussion to be video-recorded.

Now that would be cool for those of us who can't attend.
Looking forward to this years Blizzcon. I will gladly follow through with this.

I know I started a warlock somewhere, but he's way too low level to summon you. =/
Phone reception and bandwidth is practically non-existent. But I like the idea. What would you guys want to see at the show?

I'll be going as well (Cherry on SC2/co-dev of Ultimate Boss Battles).
Ill be there without a doubt!
We should definitely get some kind of hangout planned or somthing. Would be awesome to meet some other modders IRL.
I will be at BlizzCon. I'll mainly be checking Heroes and Void (and whatever other RTS stuff is going to be revealed *hint* *hint*).

everything that gives us hope that getting used to the editor wasn't for nothing.

yeah, pretty embarrassing yet fun... for some latent trolls like me and you i guess :>
that's the worst part, i didn't. i blame blizz for my lack of audience :D.

thank you to all "covering" it for us less fortunate <3

Certainly no more useless than video games, watching sports, tv, or really anything covered in the entertainment spectrum.
