The Arcade bug. What is the arcade bug that is happening?
When you finish the game and do any thing
rejoin right away
leave and try to do a new game / join a game
you go nowhere
you have to close sc2
re open it
and then u can join/create
it doesn't happen every time right now, just one out of 2 or 3 or something
(at one point however it was every game)
BUT if you are trying to host a game and you have even convinced them to
having them all (3 4 5 sometimes more) people to reboot and rejoin
.. well lets say it isn"t conclusive to a harmonious relationship
where the lobby gets re filled instantly
Not all games are short but some are (less than half hour on photon cycles for instance)
(i think instant was in the wol sc2 propaganda)
nevermind, suffice is to say that this is a MAJOR bnet bug and that many people (streamers lol) have it and that it reflects poorly on the product/service that is bnet,
To get feedback you need to network players, "recruit" some, otherwise your game will be ignored (be it an awesome game or a sh itty one).
Players are lazy and do not look for new games anymore, i'd estimate it at a max of 70/30 cut.. and the 30% that actually tries maps they have no idea about do it in "ez" mode. Meaning that they try and then never go back to it.
Networking is suppose to be done here on muppetstore.. lets leave it at that...
CurseForge, which collectively has millions of users, millions of data driven pages, and millions of monthly views.
you profess stuff that means nothing, worse they mean you are marketing and not communicating... while curse wishes it was google, .. it is not!
saying over and over that you get millions of this and gazilion of that does in no way address any of the pending issues, it just further shows what curse is not doing while being so huge and randy!
fact: mapster has done nothing to address its users (people who generate content freely for curse, against their will at this point, if you must really take things for what they are) needs
curse is not trying to make new people come to mapster, it is merely (and against its wishes too) upholding a no return on investment server,
curse does nothing to promote nor grow this community, it just pretend it is
All units are defined through several layers of concurrent data intertwined,
in the case of the Kerrigan unit K5, the "hero" flag is defined in the "basic attributes" somewhat
but not defined in the basic flags by default
simply click/toggle the hero field in the "Basic flags"
could/should resolve it (you should get a button on screen and a shortcut from it)
Same for army select
(via un-commandable/army select/etc fields, they all have to make sense as a whole so just test it out...)
(maybe you shouldn't add your hero to it though since you would already have a clunky dedicated button/shortcut above the command card if this first change worked :D )
Again, units from blizz always work, but you have to see all the code layers at once to figure out why it doesn't do "x" or "y" that you think it is supposed to do (usually in validators and such).
You have to have an objective, a reason to "fix" this through a mediator (finishing a map your way instead of his or something) and maybe therein lies the knot of your issue, i mean that you have to be clear about what your goal is.
Don't think you'd ever consider me for the job but here i am proposing my help, just pm and i'll be unbiased and promise i won't make fun of your accent.
No you are not a little girl, you are a proud mapmaker/mapmakeress and we like/respect you (we: many people on / off mapster) and would like to help.
Just expose to us individually the facts (via pm if you want) and let us give you our thoughts (he/she is right/wrong or you are right/wrong whatever...), the simple maths of a majority/or not of people saying "x" will help you, and furthermore just typing it to different people / thinking about it yourself will help)

(no hf, because disagreements are not fun, but getting passed these (clearing the issue between the two parties and mostly within yourself) could lead to a better situation in the end, and then greater fun might ensue!)
Sad thing is i wanted to message people who had posted on bnet (identifying them easily) to tell them the good news (since blizz did not do it themselves) but that is not possible :( so sad that in 2017 corporations function like this = clients are not catered to, ever, when/the way it matters!

Someone we have never been introduced to is in charge
pm the "curse" moderators with a polite message asking for your project's approval
.. the mapster moderators have no real power/access
or/and
pm the mapster moderators, they know a guy that might eventually get to it
no one actually checks the files, just post history
ZIP your files to the only acceptable format accepted on this platform
and it will upload
(after 6 months of posting it, there is still no message on the upload prompt that ZIP is the only acceptable format on this upload plateform)
it wont show that it is uploaded though, don't look for it in your page's stats, but you will get a link .. to your page.. to showcase your stuff
People can accept any procedure from anyone or anything
but
they don't have to!

Seems triggers and basic stuff works!
Still probably lots of stuff i don't do to test out before getting overly exited but sounds awesome for a start!
