And I would suggest changing the team color for the Shadowguard. Umojans use white team color, so the current Shadowguard team color parts should all be blue like on the marines, minus the pants, which don't have lights (he should have blue lights, too, if you ask me, like the Spectre has team colored lights on his pants). His left shoulder pad should be team colored and leave some room for a decal. And, I'm not too sure about the blue lights on the Marine's gun...He doesn't have it in the cinematics, does he?
Otherwise, the Marine looks frickin' amazing! D: (Though the texture on the front part of the arm could use some work, it looks stretched. In fact, you can even leave it white, since in the cinematics, it's missing that circular blue thing)
I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at. And the YouTube link doesn't seem to help as the only time Marines show up around the timecode you link is the final one with them holding their normal guns :S
I kind of imagine them being like the Go'ald ones from Stargate so yeah, shooting lasers from their tip :D
Your Umojans look awesome ^_^ nice use of the 'bullseye' Marine helmet, and it actually seems to blend quite well compared to some times when portrait/SM models are combined with in-gamemodels.
Is the TC placement finalized on the Marine yet? If not I'd suggest maybe some of the glows... depends if people go with White like was used in the lab mission to match the lab feeling or their Sc1 Teal (which, I think Blizz did nicely incorporating into the designs of Umojan stuff in HotS by using it as an accent for the techy/smooth white.)
I really hope we get to see more exploring the Umojans in depth at some point in the future, mostly 'cause they seem so different to the other Koprulu powers :)
Woah... fridge thinking here (look it up) what if the glows on the Umojan Marine armour is because they have personal force-fields? o,o They did seem to have a lot of energy field stuff going on and the Umojans are supposed to be considerably more technologically advanced than the Dominion or the Combine..
Thanks man! The reason I didn't add glowy lines for the ghost is I wanted to save on file size and I don't have time to do it well. Now seeing as it is a ingame unit and not a cinematic I took the same liberties Blizz did with Raynor in game to make the unit look more appealing. So the gun lights will stay :)
Also the arm texture is that way on Raynor as well very blurry. I think the white just makes it look slightly worse and I'm not experienced enough with photoshop to give that much better detail. Again going with file size I'd have remake the normal texture just so his arm could be without the blue piece :/
At any rate thanks for the feedback and as soon as I fix the weapon attachment I'll release it!

The Umojans had easily one of the best tilesets in SC2 I loved the design. Hopefully since they are Protoss lovers we'll see them in LoTV. They did have a barrier that kept Raynor out of the cell so I don't see why they couldn't do that for their Marine suits. Maybe someone should tell SoulFilcher and he can add it to Expanded :)
I know this request may seem a bit boring, but it's for something which Starcraft 2 is sorely lacking. We need better tree models. The ones we have now have trunks that are rather fat and overall look out of proportion. If you could edit the tree models even so little as to make the trunks thinner, I would be very happy.

I like this very much if it is so and it's even better than the darker armor he had on the previous pages. Also is such a Spectre existing really? I know about the Umojan Marine but I did not see any Spectre like that or in cinematic - is it real like the Marine from the cinematic or is it fictional?
Be sure to check out the extension mod: Hots Custom Map support on NA and EU, Despite the name it greatly expands the roster of options for the default 3 races and is updated all the way to NCO.

@Eimtr: Go When I first saw those cinematics I thought that was a shadowguard, and not without a reason: In the Spectres book it is said that Spectre suit was created by Umojans, so its logical to assume it has similarities with the shadowguard suit. But in the end the one in the cinematic is a Dominion Ghost. Blizzard already had a cinematics spectre (in the Hyperion's armory) but not a cinematics Ghost, so instead of making a new model they simply decided to recolor the spectre.

Yeah the Raynor marine has a more detailed mesh textures except for the arms and boot textures.
