    But doesn't that permanently destroy them? I need the doodads and such to be hidden initially and revealed partway through the mission? Or am I reading too much into 'Destroy'?

    So in my map I have several areas where terrain and Doodads are hidden initially and will be revealed with triggers, and potentially hidden again subsequently. However while I've got all the rest of the triggering sorted, when hidden the sound emitters for the hidden doodads and units still play. I've had no luck finding a Trigger or Actor Message for disabling these on the fly, I know I'm probably being blind but any help would be greatly appreciated!

     

    I thought the Actor Message SoundSetMuted would be the solution but it didn't appear to have any effect :(

    Hi, for some reason at some point in the past few weeks No Fly Zones have stopped displaying the mesh for representing the effected area, they only show the little white Viking with a (/) though it. I've tried going through the view settings for pathing but haven't had any luck getting it to show again. I've no idea what caused this so I don't know what to do to revert it. Does anyone have any suggestions? :-/

    Aside from the Cthulhu image (I think we all know blizzard had that in because the fans were asking for it in the forums), did you ever get an idea of what the XelNaga looked like? I mean, as you read the books, were there any ideas thrown in that should help us, at least, form an abstract of what they are or how they appear?

    The Xel'Naga were never clearly described in the novels, the closest might be some of the visions of them leaving Aiur but even then it was only references to their ship (of course we now know that was Amon and co)

    Official stuff aside, I do really like your Xel'Naga concepts :D

    Keep in mind in the stories and such much Protoss technology is described as being controlled telepathically - lack of limbs is not necessarily an issue. For example in the Dark Templar Trilogy a Human pilot is unable to pilot a Protoss ship because she's not a telepath.

    My take is Ouros/Amon and the bodies we see are possibly the forms from the PREVIOUS cycle. I think the Hybrids are a perversion of what the Protoss and Zerg would have come together as naturally as the Xel'Naga planned, but odds are the unified race would have still resembled the Hybrids - in other words Amon forced their coming together.

    Might I suggest making it so he's kneeling or has some kind of structure that obscures his legs entirely? Kinda like he's been grafted into the 'sled' permanently? Maybe something like the Necron Destroyer from Warhammer 40k? Necron Destroyer
