Something I've been working on for a time, just a teaser;
A custom single player campaign set between two perspectives on a brewing conflict; the protoss and the terran. Follows the story of a wealthy industrialist/philanthropist/bicyclist commissioning a merc unit to capture exotic species of fauna for his collection from an alluring alien planet. The arrival of terran forces on this foreign planet initiates the awakening of a dire, sleeping protoss AI, that then attracts the attention of the Dominion army. War ensues.
Narrative arch and gameplay will involve two perspectives on the conflict - the protoss; following the humble beginnings of the Protoss AI as it creeps slowly through the dangerous jungles to awaken more of its kin to battle.
And the Terran: Dominic Clarke - a dominion cannon-fodder marine that gets drafted into the conflict on the planet wherein he experiences the horror of dominion marine warfare in bloodbath after bloodbath of his fellow soldiers and regiment. After hearing of a citizens coup on his home-planet against the dominion powers that be, the shell-shocked and demented marine decides to disobey orders and flee from battle to return home to his wife.
I've done the terrain and basic design for 3.5 maps so far, however, I'm still learning data editing and how to properly use triggers. This is a hobby I enjoy working on whenever I have the spare time, which can fluctuate. Regardless I'm glad it has gained some interest.
If this thing's any indication of what the real thing is, it might be the best campaign ever. It has a really cinematic edge to it. Excited to see the story, gameplay, etc. What can you tell us about it?

Nah I lack the data editing and triggering knowledge for it to be anything too spectacular atm... but I am learning! I edited the original post with intended storyline.
That jungle terrain is looking quite nice. It feels very akin to Diablo 3's terrain, at least to me. You seem to have found just the right fog and lighting settings. That, along with the fantastic background detail really builds an amazing sense of atmosphere.
So beautifully done. I would love to have the same amount of skills as you. You build a really nice atmosphere with all the details and I especially like the combination of the desert and jungle textures, along with the details, it fits perfectly.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
StarCraft II: Annihilation Campaign - A 24 mission single-player campaign featuring unique heroes, custom tracks, boss battles, a varied set of mission scenarios and three intersecting storylines.

Was actually inspired in part by some of the great distant perspectives in Diablo 3's environments.
I began to realise how manipulating perspective can be very effective.
I have to ask: There seems to be a lot of shadow in your terrain, particularly in the jungle setting. It's very dark, very black. How did you achieve that effect? It doesn't seem to be fog of war.

I've already started ripping off your terrain for my Camp Delta map.

Just takes practice and time
