For week 95 using joecabs bridge. Just test the map. Well this is more or less a testing of my cinematic skills but I thought I'd post this anyway. Wasn't sure if I was to late on the page. I present to you my 3rd ever cutscene...
I don't know if this idea has been presented before, but maybe the next WTE could go something like this:
Terrainer takes/uses a picture of something to make a terrain. I got a picture of Mt. Hood in Oregon (though I haven't downloaded it) and the way I see it, you could use the Cyrogen tileset and lighting, but use Xil Organic Cliffs for the ridge part (it seriously has SC2 cliffs, part of the reason I was inspired).
My cake from the 100th WTE made me think to a sort of WTE...
It would be to use two doodads of absolute different nature (do not fit together) but, find a way to make them works together. For example, I saw in an older WTE, someone using the "Broken ground Edging" doodads that takes the texture from the ground to fake continuing the edge, but, over the truck to transport rocks and things.. (I don't remember the name, but similar to the one found in the first missions of the campaign to transport the Artefact). He mixed both together in a snow terrain. The ground, white, made the Edge beeing white, placed over the truck, it was looking awesome like if the truck was holding snow in it.
So really, it is open to many weird mix, for example Fan and a tree... find a way to mix those. City billboard with Zerg Spire... this would be a funny one, like if the Zerg were actually having publicities like Terrans, haha. Really find something that you would never imagine to be possible to fit together. "Destroyed Nydus Worm" (that is really awesome and ugly) with "Castanaar Monitor".. etc
I think also about a new one, find a way to use the "Alive inside" decal. ;)
Another suggestion is to take an OBJECT from around you and turn it into an epic terrain. For example, the back of my swivel chair could easily be reimagined as a power plant in a lake.
Think we've had a swamp, but that's a good one. Really just any kind of 'poison/toxic' environment, barring standard deadman's port stuff. Will use that.
Use the systems which are currently created in the monthly trigger challenge to make an awesome city with intelligent cars/traffic signals and eventually to some degree civilians...
I'm not good enough to create a super awesome terrain for the system I've build. So I would like to see what crazy things the terrain specialists can create.
Hopefully, you don't need to be a data or trigger expert to set it up in a map... at least not in my version.
For example cars are moving and follow a path you can easily set up. They lower their speed or stop, if their path is blocked by a person or a car. Cars stop at traffic lights. You can program the traffic lights with triggers and define times, etc... Also, the user can follow a car with the camera already. Persons run around and in sometimes run across a street. I try to add more like a train that moves along rail units.
That's what you can expect (because it's working already):
Alright, for my OBJECT epic terrain suggestion, this is what the back of my chair kinda looks like... 5 legs in back (Coolant Tower's blah), blue carpet (Shakuras Water), 3 Pedals that adjust the movement of the chair (lower tier landing pads) and a strange thing that sticks out to support the back of the chair and looks like it has an entrance inside (highest tier landing pad with entrance). Then, of course, I made it more realistic with the extra cliff gap fillers and blah.

Nice idea. Gonna do something with this.

lol, I wish I knew more about the cutscene editor. The only cutscene I have ever done is (fade in) marine dancing, switch camera angle (fade out).
I want to know if cutscene format files can be used to texture swap for screen containing doodads like the canastar monitors.

Why aren't you guys asking in the cutscene editor board? =P
Are there any kind of "Master thread" where it shows the Major topics on Sc2mapster like the WTE or WDE or whatever exists.

Alive inside is brilliant.

Has there been a toxic lagoon exercise?

I just had this crazy idea about a Zerg zoo, would that be a good idea for an exercise?

Between sludgewater, the aciddeath2 and the pipegroundbigsewage texture I am sure we have alot to play with.

Sounds cool haha. We've got a couple terrain with awesome road aspect. So I'm pretty sure you could have what you want here, depends of Mozared now ;)

Is it ergonomic?

It's a swivel chair of custom design.
EDIT: Apparently so. Just found out what ergonomic means.

Well, even with your description I can hardly imagine this as a chair. But the whole thing really looks nice haha.
