These maps are based on the above SC1 mod/maps by maverck and work by Blizzard (of course) and Ultraling and Jones313. They are fully backward-compatible with the previous Terran and Zerg campaign maps. Many thanks, props and much love to all who contributed. I could NEVER have completed this project without all their hard work.
Also thanks to Forsworne for the non-glowy Tassadar model and b0ne123 for the Kerrigan and Tassadar Hero Icons.
Special thanks as well to Telenil who has been quite helpful with detailed descriptions of errors and issues; also to Superfield and Jimm3110 for all the feedback and suggestions. Some of the changes and improvements would not have been done without these good fellows.
These maps are a labor of love. I learned the SC2 Editor on my own, through inference and other maps. These maps took about 6 months to complete in my spare time.
I am interested in the possibility of being a professional programmer, developer, or game designer.
I have not made these maps seeking to make any profit nor do I claim any ownership over the contents. Most of the work was done in advance by Blizzard and the people who made the SC1 Terran and Zerg campaigns.

These maps are meant to be re-creations of the original game. I have added/tweaked a number of things from the original SC1mod.SC2mod file. I have included some small surprises as well in the maps, if you explore a bit.
I would like to thank all you dedicated players of StarCraft and RTS's without which this project would be pointless. I hope you all can enjoy these maps as much as I do. En Taro Adun!
4/48/2013 - Is everyone else enjoying Heart of the Swarm as much as I am?? Fantastic campaign, Blizzard. So many good things about it, even if I don't want to spoil it for you, I might spoil it just by mentioning them... Anyhow, just an update, I am finishing school right now so in a few weeks I will have more time to pick these up again and make some more tweaks. Thanks for your patience people.
5/15/2014 - It has been a while since I last posted here, but I just wanted to inform everyone that I will be back to rebalance/debug the maps and mods once the final (Protoss) expansion is out. I haven't played SC2 that much since I got hooked on GuildWars 2 (a game I highly recommend if you like RPGs or WoW-style quest games), but I am eagerly awaiting the new expansion so you will likely see more of me once that happens. YOU MUST USE THESE MAPS WITH THE MOST UP TO DATE MOD, or they might not work correctly.
Please make sure you have the Mod in the StarCraft II/Mods folder and the Maps in the StarCraft II/Maps/3. The Fall folder (normally in the 'Program Files' directory - NOT the SC2 folder in 'My Documents').
Dragons weapon sound effect is missing and the plasma ball originates from below the unit instead of above, any idea about this issue? How to install whatsapp for ipad and how to install whatsapp on iPad

This is the old Wings of Liberty version, which we no longer support. See here for the bug-free Heart of the Swarm edition.
Some of the zerglings appear as domes still. its very demoralizing. i just dont to play at all if this isnt fixed. i sure hope more people feel the same way. its just weird to play when you have to attack domes? i honestly rather just play the original sc1 protoss campaign again then play this.
It freezes exspezially after killing a cerebrat without zeratul or by attacking it with him.
Campaign is now finished, except scenario 9 and the wrong transformation of drones in some scenarios as I said before, the campaign is excellent! I though a new release was for December 2013...
Episode 9 is bugged. After 1 hour game without any issue the game freezed and it is impossible to go further even after reload (of a freezed game) or a reload of a previous (unfreezed) game.
Very sad because I was winning and I had a lot fo carriers. My FPS dropped from 60 to 40 then impossible to play anymore.
So far no major issue with the campaign but here this is really dissapointing.
Any advice is more than welcome!
I have a strange issue, everything works wonderfully except for the dragoons. Their weapon sound effect is missing and the plasma ball originates from below the unit instead of above, any idea what may be causing this? I've tried older versions of the maps/mod to no avail, as well as trying to use WoL instead of HotS but the issue remains
Nice work and nice campaign but:
a) the smallest Zerg units appear with the shape of a medium sized ball (so it does not look as it should)
b) After I completed mission 4 (Hunt for Tassadar), I won the mission then I had the message "impossible to load map". Strange because when I launch the game via the standard menu I chose mission 5 and it launches itself without any problem. Apparently mission 4 to mission 5 causes a map problem buit starting from the game menu mission 5 starts without issue.
c) Many scenarios cannot be launched at "easy" difficulty setting, the player must chose "normal"
This being said I love the campaign!
@blablagiggles, Jones313 said there will be a new (The Fall campaign) so i think its safe to assume that this one is been put on ice since the creator of this seems to have fallen from the face of the earth on here

Moar Comments, I hope you were able to read my comment on Episode 2. Anyway, here's moar.
1.) I like the Carrier Model. However, was it really necessary? Can't we just have the new one? I mean, the Battle Cruisers look the same but I think they are the one who needs remodeling because, according to lore, the battlecruisers and siege tanks got upgraded since the events of broodwar. I'm not sure whether Carriers changed its structure in the lore of SC.
2.) There's a bug in Episode 3, Mission 2 (The Fall), Zerglings appear as domes and the opening sequence doesn't seem to work. On that note, clicking "easy" on the briefing screen yields nothing.
In mission 10 is briefing very fast

Well its weird, now its fine i live in europe and when download it in night in night i download it for 10 kb/s and now in day i download it in 600 kb/s
Well wtf, my download is very fucking slow, normally i download about 600 kb/s, but this files i download about 10 kb/s, wtf its some limited?

Maps not working, the other episodes work but this one can't find its dependencies
