Well, I can run SC2barely in this laptop. And decently good on LOW graphics in the desktop. And neither can run D3 :P but I just bought a new laptop recently which does SC2 in ultra so I'm pretty sure that one will be able to run d3 but still, have to test it out :P
I think the writing has gone worse. Skeleton King's dialogue when he taunts Cain was utterly lame. And it seems no one gives a shit their beloved ones are raisingback from the dead. Everyone just treat it like it was just a fucking vermin pest or something. I mean, seriously? A teathrical play to cheer up people? No one reacts to have the wounded come back as zombies? bleeeergh
The gameplay is decently fast paced, tho the running animation should speed up a little. It seems the character is running in slow motion.

graphcis card also matters a whole lot. chances are you have a chipset and not a dedicated card in your laptop which sucks, i know the feeling :P
I'm Corbo # 1957 for anyone who wants to add me atm
No no... I am on a Desktop. And I have a dedicated Card. My card meets minimum requirements.
After I tried installing, I went to the systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ and ran that and it tells me I do not meet minimum spec for CPU.
Worst thing is that my PC is a micro tower and I don't have room in there to really upgrade to a better graphics card, or even a better Power Supply... I need a new PC. :'(
I fail in 4 places on canyourunit lol. well 3 places, sound card was just disabled.
And on all low settings it played fine.
Try it anyways dont listen to Canyourunit.com that shit is rarely correct. if you have an AMD processor you will fail on most stuff, it doesnt actually know thos eI dont think.
If I could, I would ignore it. But, when I go to install, it TELLS ME I do not meet minimum requirements, and then it doesn't even install. It just hangs at 0%. I left it sitting for a bit and came back... like I said, it hangs dead.
And CanYouRunIt.com IS the same place as SystemRequirementsLab.com/CYRI/
Specs
Windows Vista
E5200 Dual Core 2.5Ghz
NVidia G210
4 Gig Ram
220+ Gigs free space on HDD
Attached screenshot of what I get. Even if I click ok, like I said, hangs and does not install.
EDIT:
Ok, so I went to bed, left the installer open... still 0%.

I am using Vista Home Premium 32bit as well and I have the exact same issue. People on the forums said that either updating to SP2 or go to services.msc and enable the secondary logon will do the trick... both didnt work for me. Guess i'll just wait for a month for the game to be out..
TheAlmaity#2954 if anyone wants to play (Possibly chuck me a PM or msg me on skype or something If I'm not online. I very rarely idle in games.)
2.2GHz Dual Core (i3-2330M)
nVidia GeForce GT520M
4 GB RAM
Barely any free hard disk space (Not able to install Mass Effect 2 until I remove Diablo... I know, sad...)
And yeah, its a laptop.
30+ FPS at 1280x720 resolution and relatively high graphic settings (I think I left shadows on medium, not sure.)
Whenever I try updating to SP2 I get some error even though I have a genuine/legitimate copy of Vista 64 bit with my own Product Key for it.
I decided I will see if I need any updates on windows, install them, check again, do what you tried.... it better work god damnit.
Checked, Secondary Logon is on. Just installing the Windows updates right now.
I guess that's what I get for being a French man. I thought when it meant "D3 needs a new operating system to play" I thought it meant I needed better computer parts, not a stupid Windows Vista update.
Woot! After almost 4 hours of updating Windows(I hadn't updated in almost 2 years, LOL), I finally was able to start the download for ServicePack2 and got it installed... now Diablo III is installing! Woot!
Though, there are WAY too many system restarts involved with updating... why can't I just download 1 huge patch?
Valahan #1962 whenever I don't get error 37 trying to log in.
Error 37 means there is no room left for you. The servers right now are down, or have a very low player cap. They'll be bringing more servers online soon.
I managed to get through about 1 and a half times with my witch doctor, but now it's down.

I need a new PC then... and I gots no money... no D3 on release day for me?
/tears
Its playable on my laptop, lol, 2.2Ghz Dual Core for the WIN!!!! shittop plays it on Bare ass low Shit resolution. lol
HOPEFULLY the minimum will be lowerd when the game actually comes out like SC2 did.
Really fun, loved the witch doctor class, the Health system works great, though potions are still necessary. They are great.
Finally got it work, and I can run it! Woo-hoo!
