The newest patch seems to have screwed up my timers and made the text semi-transparent or something. I've tried to fix it but no success. Attached is my original code.
So the issue is that the timer inherited from void (campaign) dependency is messed up. I made a blank test map with with just campaign dependency and still had the problem. After rooting through the coop mod files, I found a simple way to fix it although I'm not entirely sure how it works.
It is getting the timer dialog template (used by all timer dialogs) to perform an animation event, or that is how it looks at least. I am guessing they added some functionality in void to flash the timer dialog or emphasise it and that is broken until one explicitly animates it.
The color is dependent on the player race. Terran gets green and protoss gets blue. Just happened to get different races when taking the two screenshots.

Looks almost as if the countdown text is being blended in under the dialog frame. Does your map modify the standard UI?

So does it make the countdown blue then permanently? I sorta liked the green.
I'm guessing it's the last two trigger actions in conjunction that make the timer readable again?

Yes, the first hooks up the timer window template and the second sends the template an animation command.
