That would actually work... but I dont know if startools would export just a skeleton. I know that it will try to delete bones not skinnned to any thing.
I'll think about making that attachment skeleton... But anyways would this be a good place to drop concept art? or should I have a different thread in a separate area?
You could drop it here or make a new thread either way I doubt people will care, though you could change the title of this thread to include concept art.
The model looks very good to me, keep the mostly realistic proportions as that will help with the SC1 feel a lot, as opposed to optimizing things for visibility too much.
been really busy recently, but I have gotten some things done:
..................................
Mostly just work this week though... Been studying some topology for low poly models too.
It's a Zerglin', Lester!
Looks good model-wise. Now to get the right texture to go with it.
I'd take a second look at the webbing on those feet, they may need to be tweaked.

Still alive and kicking, just busy.
My guide to the trigger editor (still a work in progress)
Or just make an animated skeleton with good attachment points for stuff to hang from.

You could make a basic skin and add opacity couldn't you? If not you could in the editor so really the skinning doesn't matter.
Was thinking like the invisible model but with animated attachment points (a lot of them).

There is "bone reduction" option on export panel, set it to none -> none of bones will be removed.

Another official image of torrasque, here it has different baldes
Finished a black and white texture for the SC1 hydralisk. I'll add color tomorrow. Constructive criticism is welcome!
The hydralisk head have smaller theet and has 2 jaws, not only 1.And the head so should be like this
The model looks very good to me, keep the mostly realistic proportions as that will help with the SC1 feel a lot, as opposed to optimizing things for visibility too much.
That is Starcraft 2 art.
You can see the SC1 Hydralisk very well in the original Starcraft's cutscenes
Look at your own image!! You can see a primary little jaw inside the esternal ones, the hunter killer is the confirm to this
The Hydralisk have 3 jaws, the central is more little, the jaws of side are bigger. Do you think to do a portrait to for the SC1 Hydralisk?

Looks like it needs a dentist with those teeth. Would have to see it textured though to be sure.

The Swarm isn't known for it's dental plan.
Hehe, that's hilarious. Working for Kerrigan's got no benefits.
