How about the Dark Templar can blink anywhere on the map that you have vision of. Also give the Phoenix the cloak ability. Have a ability on void rays that would let them deal increasing damage faster. let the sentry have the added effect on guardian shield increase every units shields by 100. give High Templar more rage on feed back. Allow Archons to merge with any units giving them the added shield and health and increased armor and attack. Give the Nexus the shield battery ability. And finally zealots will be able to jump in to a photon cannon and drive it around like a tank.
I was playing the Mission Engine of Destruction on Wol and I saw the Odin shooting targets. I have never seen them in the editor before. Any ideas what happen to them?
I agree. Also I hope that flying shield battery dont move slower than a reaver. but what ever the unit is I hope it is something new to the table. But what i can tell from general statements is that the majority want to see something brought back from the old Starcraft days weather it is the abilities or the unit of the arbiter, corsair, reaver or the shield battery.
If it is a flying shield battery I got one word ,GHOST. I heard you like a flying shield battery so we got a flying shield battery to heal your flying shield battery while you heal the shields on your flying shield battery "oh wait" you cant you just got EMPed.
besides Shields heal themselves if it works like I imagine it it would work like EMP but instead of draining the shields. it would restore the shields instantly over the given area.
I Hope it fly's like the phoenix. So many questions can be consider with this??? Does it have attack or is it just a flying ability...or both?? is it a support unit?
Black Fog, I always wonder why they removed that, also island maps what happen to them. I like burning tide I think that map has so much potential. There is so much possibilities with the map editor that maps can be a whole new game in the Starcraft universe. If you sat down and think and allow new ideas to come in your head there would be ideas on top of those ideas and so on. Those ideas can bring a new level of play that has never been seen before.
My inspiration on map ideas is Battlebots. Whats yours.
One of my favorite anime is a M.D.Geist and it will kill everything you though you know about anime. If you never heard of it you should watch it M.D.Geist is the definition of OP.
I feel like the current end-game is just fine with Starcraft where a constant battle and production can last for a hour or longer depending on the map and that level of play is definitely Pro level. But you will never get that type of match up between two low level players. There should be maps that cater towards a player who want to focus on a specific task that will help their a skill that they are lacking in Starcraft. For example a production style game where you focus solely on production the catch is you have no ability's for units and the only thing you can upgrade is stats and lets make the upgrade count to 250 instead of 3. This would be a game for beginners who want to get good at production cycles and can practice it for the entire duration of the game with no interference. Monobattles simulate that production style game pretty well I think and it is fun to play.

This is more than just tweaking this is adding a whole new level of play. Wood league to god league it is not fair to determine a style of play based on the type of league your in so what if a player camps in his base and trys to get a strong army. When his army is dead and he has no economy to Reproduce he ultimately contradicted the purpose of making a big army and trying to win the game with it. In essence he destroyed himself with his build.
Why cant there be multiple styles of Starcraft. I think that there should be a variety of Starcraft games that explore unique ideas available for people to play. The thought of this post was never intended to overthrow the ladder game of Starcraft.
For my idea I was rewarding the intense macro players with the idea that when my economy is strong and my army is too that I can go for that expensive upgrade that will give my production a boost.
I am interested in what type of modification you would make to improve the game of Starcraft.
