Hi everyone! i have file that is know string.txt. its basically triggers in there from a old map that my friend gave me.
the problem is : i want to know how to add to my map.
i want to know how to input the triggers.
My freind told me there are string files. so i want to know how to add them in and ive tried the trigger script thing. didnt work told me that had errors.
dont know how to add them would anyone please help me with this?
you have to import them with import manager and then create a custom script in triggers with "include TriggerStrings.txt". if you like to use your functions in GUI you have to create actions with the same name and parameters and mark them as native.
Unfortunately, usually TriggerStrings.txt is pretty much always a locale file with stuff like trigger and variable names (for GUI). What you need is a .galaxy file.
Tell me is your triggerstrings file looks similar to this:
Trigger/Name/7082EFE6=Initialization
Trigger/Name/7D664E35=AI Start
Trigger/Name/987A43B0=Boom
Trigger/Name/A405CDEF=Intro cut
Trigger/Name/AA6FFE74=P7 Minerals
Variable/Name/830D6C65=Outpost Played
Variable/Name/8955DBE3=Colony Regrowth Suppressed
Variable/Name/90C2CCE7=Player Group

this is the file know as : TriggerStrings.txt
You should copy paste the triggers from the old map file to the new map file you made.
Still alive and kicking, just busy.

If he can't copy paste the triggers from one map to another, he probably is trying to break into a locked map.
