I can help test if no nova assets included.
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Many gave valid point and reasoning.
I've decided to revise the final map some more, perhaps cut it down to an hour or so.
Again, thank you.

Very insightful video.

Hmm, you have a point there. People certaintly don't want another mass effect 3 ending.

The remake would be great ^_^.
So .. it's a mod that resize the ingame model correct?
That is the thing, fun / boring is subjective.
Many people think COD fun , while I think it is not.
My bae think LotR trilogy is boring and think Ghostbuster 2016 is a master piece, while I think ... yeah you get the idea...
Hello sc2mapster how are you.
I'd like to ask you opinion about how long is too long for a map.
The reason I ask is because I am currently in middle of mapping the final map of HoD custom campaign.
When I test play it and I almost 3/4 through I realize it was nearly 2 hours long.
I certainly don't want anyone to feel the map take to long to complete.
So to sum up my question is this :
How long is acceptable for a map.
A. Under 30 minutes
B. 30 - 60 minutes
C. 60 - 90 minutes
D. Else [please write down what you prefer]
Thank you.
Play The Hammer of Dawn please.
Always fun to watch people play.
Only one more map for a complete campaign.
Should be up sometime next week.
I personally like the idea to be able to save and load a game when and where I want.
Like when I go to vegas and save just before I roll the dice, and load until I roll double snake eyes. Golden!
But joke aside auto save IMO killed it for me.
But hey, each to their own.

You can set the transparency using adobe photoshop.
I'll post step by step tutorial later [with pics].

That is all imo.
Good luck.

1. Create two weapon one with "armored allowed" and another with "armored excluded"
2. Create research upgrade that will add "weapon with armored allowed" to the unit of said player and remove "weapon with armor excluded".
3. Or create a trigger to add "weapon with armored allowed" to the unit of said player and remove "weapon with armor excluded".
See screenshot for better explanation.
1st. Create the new custom unit that you want. Including custom unit icon, custom unit frame, custom unit stats etc.
2nd. Create ability of train unit (see barracks / hive abilities) and link that ability to your custom unit.
3rd. Open AI tab and link the tech tree of your unit and your ability to which ever race that you want (terran / zerg / protoss).
4th. You can use triggers to execute order to train your custom unit.
5th. Done.
I need that hybrid queen model for HoD mission 10 final boss, share them please ^_^.
