Yeah, but this way it takes so long to place individual things, edit data, find errors .... I really hope one day we will be able to control computer by thoughts, but until then we can only dream, or get hired by Blizzard and have team of people helping us (guess only a dream too)xD
This project is currently canceled, I find it hard to continue making it, because I do not have that much free time and mapmaking is really time consuming. It pains me a bit, since I've already created many unique units and thought through the story. I still have the ideas for the missions in my head, so if anyone would like to inspire or continue making this, I'd share them with you. Also if you want, you can test some unused purifier units and some heroes that are already in the mod.
I'll be continuing making models for this community and maybe even making some missions from time to time in form of a new project named StarCraft2: The Untold Stories, which will contain multiple unique missions featuring lesser know StarCraft characters or completely new ones. However there will be little conection between individual maps, so it will be easier to just make one map at a time instead of a continuous campaign as it is hard having a story for 9-10 missions and publishing like 1-3 missions a year, it would take too long to finish. I think it will be better for me and for you if I'll just do a mission that has it's own story and ending and you won't have to wait for continuing.
Hope you understand this and hope there wasn't anyone too hyped for the rest of Alarak's Conquest.
These bugs should be easy to fix, and yes those containers with replicants are doodads (Or rather models created through triggers) The selectable replicants spawn if the objective is complete.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll fix that vespene geyser and maybe make the final zerg attack a bit more difficult. The visible places should be visible :D The machine doesn't attack you, because it is anti-air canon, so if you would have scouts, it would attack you :) For the highground, i noticed that as well, but I have no idea why it is happening :D
EDIT: And one question, what is your screen resolution ? If it is different than 1920x1080, can you please make a screenshot of the final cinematic screen with Karass talking ? it is supposed to be in the center of the screen, however I'm not sure if it works on different resolutions. If you don't want to play it all over again, then just get god mode and then type "jump" into chat (Alarak will automatically teleport to the beacon near the artifact.), after the cinematic type "win" and all generators will be destroyed, now just defend Alarak xD #DevCheats
The final Cinematic didn't work for me once too, so i made the region Alarak has to enter bigger, now it should work ok. Thanks for confirming the Nexus construction tho.
Yeah might be because of machine too, but the final cutscene didn't work in case Alarak didn't enter a small region which could occur really often, so i made the region bigger. The Nexus works fine tho. Also i made the mask black, but I'm struggling with the deselection, maybe i'm just blind, but I can't find it in triggers, if you know where to look, please let me know :) Also really thank for your help & feedback, it's very valuable.
First of all I'm glad you like the voice acting as i thought it is really bad. I hope the fun will remain in next missions too, beacuse it's the point of making a campaign, because who would like to play something boring, right ?
I don't know why Armored Votary doesn't have the upgrades, i will look into it (EDIT: They get the upgrades, but the icon and armor level doesn't update). Problem with Stalker's autocast is, that they autocast it only when losing shields, i have no idea why, nor how to change it :( (If someone knows, please tell me). I think that the game speed problem should be easy to fix by making every trigger use real time, instead of game time, i will try that.
"Surrending" was clearly a missclick or not working keybord, the others are really mistakes, my english isn't that good, thanks for correcting it. I will try to do the fast voice acting again and slower.
Also did you experience some of the issues written above by VastanX ? That would be much important to know.
Weird, if you watch the video, everything worked for me. I will look into it. Minerals, Supply and Vespene are not shown on purpose as you won't need them. The care in the first cinematic isn't meant, he really doesn't give a sh*t about his troops, but he wants it to look like he does. Thank you for feedback, i will have lot to think about :)
