The map is going to be a mixture of Risk, Metal Gear, GTA, and some of my own ideas. This is a TPS that uses the best known camera setup I can find. The shooting system won't be using trace lines, but instead click and shoot. There are about 18-20 districts in the map and you are given one Henchman that has to take control of them all and at the same time find parts to build a giant robot or death ray. The storyline will be based off of every villain v. hero relationship. While doing the missions, you'll have a chance to control ships and/or fleets. You can hijack enemy ships or steal one that's unoccupied. Also, this is a 6 player map and you can have alliances or work alone to beat it. If you work alone or fewer allies, you get a better score for ranking. Better ranking we give you slight advantage in terms of finding ships and weapons. Throughout the game, there will be villains for hire and of course, one super hero that will try to to stop you. I called him Yellow Feet and he has the ability to fly, super speed and strength. There hard part of the game will be doing it all with stealth. You don't have to, but less stealth, more enemies, harder to complete.(I guess that's the only part I'm including from MGS, and the Metal Gear itself).
ohh. That works when the mouse is not shown? Didnt know that...How would the mouse go over the unit, since when you use the first person settings it puts your mouse right over the center of the screen- (and rotates around that one point in the center of the screen) winch means your always aiming right at the same spot. Right? O.o Anyways, like I said, really really nice UI. Keep up the good work.
yeah, of course, one of the advantages of the suits are so you can use different types of weapons, some are going to have more delay between shots then others. Also in the ships that you control, some are going to be equipped with turrets
Theres going to be a few different modes to the game that includes, a tps zone control (which is essentially a pvp) , man hunt, and story mode.
Some might be skeptical of all these ideas put into one game, especially cause its a tps. but most of the mechanics used in the game is done using threads marked 'solved' in the fourms and the many tutorials, so credit go out to everyone. As far as the lag goes, this is a long term project and I'm really hoping by the I finish, lag will be less of a problem, but yeah, itll problem lag the same way the starship trooper tps does. If its unbearable, I can easily switch it to classic gta :)

Are any of the weapons going to be able to be continuously fired (Machine Gun/Hold Down Click to keep firing)

yeah, the first time I set it up, I didnt have relative mouse lock and turn it on one day and realize the mouse stays in the center.

Indeed. I would recommend making a deathmatch style map using most of the mechanics from this game.
