For this week's WTE, I figured I'd change things up with a "Mythological Realm" theme. What does that mean? Simple - in contrast to the sci-fi themes we usually create, I'd like you guys to create any mythological realm you'd like. We're talking the icy cavern that Ymir the Norse frost giant lives in, or the Greek underworld Hades calls his home. As long as it's associated with a mythological figure, it'll do.
I like it too, but you think you could try adding a little bit of Depth of field to the camera? That would greatly help feeling how deep the terrain is and the eye would be less tricked about what is front what is back.
Do you remember one of my terrains from the old days, it was made to be viewed from a very precise perspective and it was for a WTE that was something along the lines "where the nature takes back over the city", the camera was near the ground looking at a road with building walls on both sides made of Rubble_Building with a car in the front view on the left and many Vines on the building and there was a Bridge in the far background.... I can't find back what wte it was...

That was WTE 53, 'We Are Legends', based on the 'I Am Legend' movie. Great piece of work, even :)
Whoaaa... I can't believe my memory was so wrong. It does not use Rubble building, it doesn't have that many vines, most of it are trees, the bridge is not the bridge i had in mind...
Weekly Terraining Exercise #243
Hey again folks!
As always, good luck & have fun!

Odin hangs from Yggdrasil, the World Tree (not the overlord hero from SC1). Note his ravens near him.

Wow. Simple, yet really impressive.
