Next, I want to learn how to configure a .m3 physics mesh/vertex group. For example, a character's hair, cape, or other hanging accessory. I successfully followed along with this tutorial, now how to make an .m3 version?
Hey, I'm trying to preview a couple of HotS models, but it's not playing the models' animations. They're just statues, even after saving and restarting the SC2 map editor.
How do I display a scrolling effect like this in the SC2 map editor? Looks like I followed instructions correctly in Blender using "AnimAll", but it doesn't scroll when I import it into Starcraft 2.
I'm trying to learn how to animate textures too. How do I display a scrolling effect like this in the SC2 map editor? Looks like I followed instructions correctly in Blender using "AnimAll", but it doesn't scroll when I import it into Starcraft 2.
Also, if a model has several textures, you'll have to "Separate By Selection" accordingly. Pretty much one mesh per texture. For characters, they may often include hair, cape, and other accessories.
As I announced earlier, Jeromnimo restored enough of the WoWMV, recently updating the FBX exporter so that it could export multiple animations at a time. Here is what to do in Blender upon importing the .fbx model and its animations. Let's see some Warcraft-themed ideas again! :)
Jeromnimo FINALLY (Fucken Finally) restored enough of the WoWMV, recently updating the FBX exporter for functionable models. It is then a bit of a process to bring it into SC2, however...
Two months later and still no step-by-step guide nor a video tutorial...? This would be another solution in case Jeromnimo doesn't restore WoWMV's M3 exporter.
Has anyone tried using this add-on for the WoW Model Viewer? I'd like some instructions on here to get started please. How do I specify input folder and output file in command line opts?
Here's my issue: Some .m3 files I try to import into Blender won't, due to a number of "unknown sections". A few others don't seem to import correctly and look mangled.

I may be late, but did you "delete" the scope piece? 'cause I could do that by deleting faces.

Someone ought to make newer, more modernized add-ons...

I don't know if we're allowed to make such requests here, but if only there was an external Starcraft 2 model editor. If someone could make one...
