Howdy all, i wish to make a unit enter a rage state when it reaches a certain Hp (say 20%) does anyone know how to make this sort of thing happen in the data editor, or must i use triggers?
lol i was working on a similar game type when i first got into the editor but stopped because i didnt know a thing about the editor =P glad to see another Dow2 fan =D
Be able to delete values such as actor events and other things with a red cross using the delete key. It sucks having to right click or move around to delete stuff that doesn't work/needs to be change.
Howdy Howdy! I have searched for many the hours and havent been able to find anything to do with buttons that have values that reference an effect. By this i mean that when an ability is upgraded the button changes to new damage dealt by the ability. A great example of this is in City of Tempest when every damage upgrade also updates the new damage of a spell.
I would love to have this ability without a missile but as you said the colossus actor is complicated. I tried messing around with mover sites but i'm not very good with actors yet =S
Hey guys I have run into a bit of a problem with an ability I am making. It is pretty much like a missile that penetrates unit to a certain length, however i would like a beam to slowly travel forwards (Think of the wall of fire from sc2 campaign but more of a beam being shot from a unit in a straight line.. if that makes sense) I am able to get all the effects pretty much done, just a matter of getting the actors to work how i would like them to.
If anyone knows how I could accomplish this I would be mighty grateful for some help, and if your really awesome make an example map so i can see in the editor. Thanks all =D
Movers =D I have only recently started working with this area of the editor so I am rather excited about seeing what people come up with. Quick question, is it possible to have say the hellion's flame or the void ray's beam travel in a spiral similar to missiles, because personally i think that would make some awesome effects.

Does this method using data still work as i have tried multiple variations and it will not work for me.....
