    We have actually tried that map at a previous time. Despite it not being an Adventure/RPG it kinda fits into what I am looking for, and it was pretty enjoyable. We played 2 or 3 times before we beat it.

    I liked how it was set up as a mission of sorts, and at the end you have to get back to the ship. The Final Boss was quite easy though.

    The real problem with Death Haven is initially it is almost impossible, but every time you play it, it becomes considerably easier, because you gain access to new abilities.

    Unfortunately we are playing on NA, I had a look around for "A lava runs through it" to see if it is published over here, but to no avail. I'll keep an eye out for those ghost/infiltration/stealth maps. Thanks though :)

    It occurred to me that a great game for what I am looking for would be something like "Dungeon Crawlers: Broken Oath" from Wc3. That was a fun game, too bad I haven't seen any Sc2 maps like that yet.

    I watched all the videos on your project page. Seems like an interesting project, an ORPG isn't really the type of map I am looking for. But on the other hand this doesn't really look like and ORPG at all. I'll keep it in mind and perhaps suggest it.

    I don't think that's true at all, the map I was working on before this one was purely coding, it was two dimensional, so I was doing it all with overlain images. Unfortunately I gave up on that because my code wasn't efficient enough to track all the pulses I was sending all over the place. I was pretty pleased with the system though.

    I am currently working on a map based on the gameplay of the Fire Emblem series. This one only has data editing for cosmetic effects. ie. making the units the right size and model and such. All the information about the units down to the damage dealt is being tracked and carried out via triggers, and displayed with custom UI.

    It's quite possible to make a good map with minimal or no data editing, though of course data editing would be good to know. I'm picking it up bit by bit as I do the core stuff via triggers.

    A couple of days ago, a few friends and I, played Zerg Hunter RPG: Betrayal. As best I could tell we were all extremely enthused by the game. Some of the best 3 hours of Sc2 we've played. Afterwards we all decided that we really wanted to play more cooperative games like that in the future. Unfortunately the second part of the Zerg Hunter series isn't out yet, so I've been fishing around for some similar maps we could play.

    So far I've found a couple, but I'm still looking for more. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Ideally the map should be 4 players, but 3 or 5 will also work.

    posted a message on Where do you start when you start making triggers?

    Some UI work may be necessary to make sure you can test things. But if you do need it, just get the dynamic information and buttons in there so you can make sure everything is working, don't worry about making it look nice till later.

    When mapping in general it is often a good idea to do that hardest parts first. Because thats the time when you would either lose interest or encounter a fatal flaw which will prevent you from continuing. Best to not have a ton of other work already done, which would then go to waste. For that reason I've lately been trying to do my triggering first, before things like terrain, and cosmetic data editing.

    Maybe people just don't agree that the gameplay is interesting. Or maybe they think the genre is old and overdone. Or maybe it isn't actually being looked at because the title isn't interesting at all.

    The walls look a little out of place. You should probably reskin them.

    However this looks really great. I am always glad to see medieval projects being made. :D

    And the terrain is very nice, not something often seen in AoS.

    All in all I am looking forward to hearing more about this. ^_^
