    How does one go about getting them featured on the front page of Starcraft 2 website?

    How did Gradius get his "Subjection" on the official Blizzard Mod page? Does anyone know?

    Is Heroes of the Storm using the same language as Starcraft 2? Perhaps they are both somehow going to be coupled together. I'm not really up to date on the HotS goings-on, but perhaps they are trying to drum up more of a base (Arcade is free) and then release HotS into the Arcade with a Marketplace feature as others have said.

    posted a message on Monthly Data Exercise #26 - W.A.L.L.-E.

    Man nice job. I had to give up on this, but I was enjoying myself. I couldn't get all the parts to line up. I do appreciate the help and will knock out the next Data Exercise. I'm already using what I learned in the map I'm working on!! Yay!

    Did we ever figure out how to update the Current Events? Did Mozared reveal his secrets. I think more people would participate if it was up on the front page. This thread gets buried very quickly.

    Unsticky? Lots of stickies crowding this forum that are old and not relevant. Well,actually there is some cool stuff in here. Perhaps it should be a resource in the wiki or at least get a new title. For example, "Awesome stuff people created 3 years ago that will inspire you."

    Hey man,

    I tried on normal and got my butt kicked so I had to go easy. I've never played tower defense so maybe some of my critiques aren't warranted, but here goes:

    1) The dialogue is repeated in your dialog box and with the subtitles. 2) You have the unit sounds on every time the portraits come up. 3) The environment is very stark. I don't really understand the need for the town either. I know its a cave, but maybe more rocks, water, debris, equipment to liven up the place. 4) Maybe some sort of light path in the beginning to get your troops to the front. I was sorta clueless in the beginning. 5) The SCV at the bunkers should be in normal as well. 6) Sentry Bots are not keyed to f2 7) When you upgrade units its the zerg "mutation is complete.

    I ended up just spamming mines on easy. It was a total massacre. Is there detection in the upper levels? I couldn't get past 10 mins on normal but on easy it was a breeze.

    Looking forward to campaign. Check out Amber Sun level 2 or 3, can't remember, for some cave terrain inspiration.

    That first sentence....I almost cried!! If you haven't played Amber Sun or Crimson Moon, then you haven't lived!! :) Well...maybe that is a little strong, but its fun.

    Hey guys!

    Thanks for the advice!! I want to test my first mission for sure!! If it is really bad, then back to the drawing board, but I'm feeling pretty good about it and so hope it can go into my campaign. However, I feel like my first mission will now be my second because I want the story to really develop. I would like to do a little character development and world building before the shit hits the fan in my campaign.

    The outside and inside of my first mission are very amateur. I'm looking forward to having my mission critique heavily cause it'll mean my next will be easier to crank out and way better. I plan on asking people to play it in a couple of weeks. So much polishing...and I'm having a lot of fun writing the story.

    I hope you are around in 6 months to a year! I'm trying to make my own campaign at the moment. No programming experience or WC3 editor for that matter, but I've been learning a lot and plowing through. I really am harnessing all my free time to get this project complete...so epic!!

    I'd be so excited to blast out a collaborative single player campaign in the coming future. I'd be especially excited to blast out multiple smaller campaigns that we would release over a period of time.

    I would say look at the Undead Assault 3 map for some guidance. The author made some amazing stuff in it and he has made it public and wants people to learn from it. Good Luck!!
