Currently, there isn't any way to kill off a unit via triggers. You can order it to "suicide" though. You can also just send it off to a corner of the map, :P.
Welcome to the forums, YG, :P. As Macvot said, there's a Teams page where you can check out what teams are currently on Mapster... Or you can create your own!
As far as what's going to be possible... Anything really! GalaxyEdit is supposed to be all-doing, so whatever your imagination can work up.
I was under the impression that ther was a plenty of modelers here D: oh well, modeler here too, you can see a couple of my models in one of my map projects, though i have about a year of experience.
Maybe now, but that reply of mine is 3 weeks old, ;).
@Sixen: Go I particularly meant the official editor, but I may have to try that one again sometime. I tried it when I first realized how SC2 has progressed and it just error'd at me, and I haven't tried it since. I'll look at it again next time I have some free time.
Just sayin', :P. If you need help, just post up the error or grab one of us in IRC.
That would suck, but I'm sure in no time someone will have the editor usable outside of the beta. Unless they miraculously recruit me into the beta I hope someone does. I'd really like to get a headstart on making some Custom Maps before the game is released.
I'm hoping we get GE soon, so we can do so much more... Not only because we get to use the Editor itself, but also because they'll be implementing more in regards to mapping and Custom Games to SC2, :).
The reason some features are so much different is because everything you see here is homemade. This allows us to link everything together; for example, each project created by an author can have a private sub-forum for their project and automatically be made moderator there.
I do agree, things need some polishing, so any suggestions you have, feel free.
Just wondering, why are you guys doing this? Isn't the only reason to make another version of an editor is because that editor has serious flaws. The galaxy editor isn't released yet and from what I've been hearing, you can pretty much do anything without much trouble.
There's a few reasons we're doing this... First off, because we can! GalaxyEdit has still yet to be released, so it holds us off until GE is released. Secondly, we'll be focusing on things GE can't do, like UI Customization, and precompiling code from other languages that Galaxy cannot utilize by default. The goal of MWE isn't to compete with GE, it's to assist and work alongside.

Using MWE?

What do you mean by remove units? As in, remove the starting units? Or remove a unit dynamically?

Also, moved to Off-Topic, ;P.

Seems like that's come up a few times. Will bring it up to the Devs.

How old is that screenshot? If it's older than the Twitter Dev Chat, then this isn't a valid conclusion, :P.

How inaccurate are they? Works fine for me.
