Ive been working with the Editor for a year now. I had zero programming experience and it was an epic experience.
This is something I think is awesome when game editors can do this. I also have no actual programming experience, but still have been able to get pretty decent at the editor over time. And it can be quite fun (definitely have spent more time in the editor than actually playing SC2, haha.)
So is this more technical stuff about the editor, or just anything to make a good campaign. Cuz I was thinking that custom voice acting is always awesome.
Just wondering because at the moment I type this the whole first page of general chat and off-topic forums are filled with spam bot threads. Would be nice to be able to delete them. Reported one of em to draw a mods attention for now.
Most extension mods are trigger or data based, so if you have a trigger/data question, post in one of those. If you just wanna show off, map feedback would probably be fine.
It's been awhile since I've messed with cameras. Have you tried storing the camera position as a camera object variable then recalling it using apply camera object?
Lately bots have gained a sense of self awareness and are very interested in Starcraft 2 mapping. Unfortunately their core programming only allows them to communicate in the form of viagra ads and kitchen remodels. While they're trying to ask us simple questions like how to create their own hero units, it comes off as not much different than a richard simmons infomercial. Unfortunately people aren't willing to try to break past the language barrier, so I'm afraid they'll be discriminated against for a long time to come.
Should be. I believe I used functions like all players, and triggering player (to update specific player on their specific amount of workers). But I didn't spend hours on it so there could be mistakes :P

The easiest way is to use a action/function with "unit property" in the name. You can get supply stuff from there.

That one wasn't working for killed units when I tried it.

You might need something for a cancelled mutation. (or maybe that's included in the 'any stages')

You just need to find an event for when a building is created, then run the same stuff that runs when a worker is born/dies.

Did you use the "attach text tag to unit" action?
Also just an FYI you can use store text tag for unit as an easier way to reference text tags than creating variables for them.

Only partially tested, but something like this would probably work.
