I am working on a map that can be played between two players only. When the game start, two windows appear on the top of the screen in game. The first window shows how many points Player 1 currently has, and the second window shows how many points Player 2 has.
I am trying to add the name of player 1 into the first window, and the name of player 2 into the second window. So players understand which window belongs to what player. But I can not get it to work properly.
Another problem is how to limit the length of player's names. If players have too long names, they won't fit into the windows.
Yep, I've tried that as well. The problem is as soon as the window updates the score of the players, player's names get all messed up. : /
Basically, I need a way to make the two players understand which score screen belongs to what player. Perhaps are their other ways to do this?
Maybe make a trigger that always make player 1 red, and player 2 blue. Then the two windows can display "Red Player" and "Blue Player".
So players should not be able to change their colors in game, if that is even possible to make... One problem however is if players are color blind and thus can not determine if they are blue or red. Not sure how common that is, but it might be annoying for some people...
Any ideas how to make players know what window belongs to what player?
Hello,
I have attached a trigger as a map.

Would anyone mind to give me a helping hand?
For text, there's a "name of player" function. I'm not sure how you'd limit the characters though.

You would just use the function for the update as well.
