So I recently decided it'd be fun to use the wall models from http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/wall-models-3-types/, but am realizing I have no clue at all how to actually use these. They are imported, but that is about it, I'm really just wanting to use them like doodads, with the walls not being destructible/passable/allow vision.
You need some limited data-editing knowledge to use them. I suggest you play around in the data editor for a bit. The idea is that you duplicate (I think) an existing doodad and turn that one into your wall doodad; change the name, the model used, footprint, sizes, all that kind of jazz.
Agree with Mozared. Anyway here's an outline of everything you need to do after you import the file.
1. Create a new model.
2. Assign your imported data to this model.
3. Create new actor.
4. Link new actor to new model.
5. Create new unit.
6. Link unit to actor.
NOW you can place it.
If you want to take the easy way out, just make the unit's invincible, unselectable and hide the life bar. Then put pathing blockers and sight blockers wherever you place them. Sorta cheating, but works for imported doodads.

Open Data Module | Go to Actors | CTRL + Shift + D | Create new doodad | Select and right click on "Art: Model" | Find model name, apply |
@ScrinKing: Go

i would say ScrinKing is pretty much spot on, you might have to import the data to a actual model first though.
