I dont know if I am needed... So many mentors already, but I try and give back to the community.
Help type: Data and more data
Specialty: Almost everything in the data editor although my specialty lies with extremely complex abilities and actors (20+ effects and 10+ actors for a single level ability). I also do everything 100% in the editor. If someone tells you that you will need a trigger, come to me and I'll show you how to do it in the editor.

Maps: <Several Cortex Roleplay Terrains; I plan on revamping my already published terrains, which are, Cortex Roleplay - Bleak Wood Temple, Ultradiatus, Crete, and Derelict. Current project, which will be released shortly, is the re-terrain of Cortex Roleplay, Antediluvian Vale, and you can find screens at the cortex roleplay forums under terrains, or here, also under terrains (thread name, Feed Back Requested Pretty Please with...) This is probably the most accurate showcase of my work (the other three being made about 2 months+ago)>

I think this is a freakin awesome idea. Alot of you guys are going to get tired of answering "simple" questions for us GE noobs. But I know personally that sometimes stuff in GE get's kind of overwhelming and disheartening(sp). Especially when you know just enough to have fun making maps, but not enough to complete them, let alone make them EPIC.

Just thought of something. Why not add the questions you guys answer to the wiki or something. That way eventually a lot of questions will be answered somewhere.
Well, a lot of us are giving out our Skype, MSN, or other IM details to the people asking help so that we can actually chat (much faster than PMs), in which case it's also a lot harder to just pull the question and answer out of it and put it in the wiki. In case of PMs or Emails, we can just copy large chunks of text, but in case of IMs we would have to rewrite or massively format everything.
I'm pretty new to the Galaxy Editor. I poked around back in beta, but I haven't really done anything since. My ultimate goals are pretty big in scope so first I'd like work on some smaller more manageable projects to learn the editor. I suppose I could just go through a few tutorials, but this mentor program sounds more fun. :)
So if anyone who has a fairly broad knowledge of the editor would like to assign me a couple of progressively for difficult projects to help familiarize me with the editor I would be deliriously grateful! I know the first post said to contact the mentors directly, and if nobody replies back I suppose that's what I'll do. :p I just figured, in case some of the mentors were already getting overloaded with Mentees it might be preferable to post here first and maybe a mentor who isn't overwhelmed yet could pick me up.
The best way to reach me would either be PM or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Or just reply to this thread, I'll be back to check on it.
