Nevertheless I will look into it. Obviously I can't just remove them, because the war has to simulated at all times. But maybe I can hide their actors or something like that.
The basic concept of the RPG lacks scope for the Chaotic Evil concept where the people will go to war with both polar parties. The only hero shown so far looks like a cheap pokemon/monster chasers rpg (WC3) rip and the map looks tiny and uncreative as far as environments go. So far all you show is teleporting betweeen towns making this an rpg and not orpg. Also with the videos you waste over 25% of your time with the loading screen caused by your prehistoric PC. When you show clips people want the highlights not the flaws.

I don't think your going to be satsified with whatever defense I may come up with, so I suggest we just play the map instead. Are you on EU?
To everyone else: I just want to clarify a few things that aren't correct in DrSuperEvil's post: You can of course join the "polar parties" and fight the other side already, I just didn't have time to show that. Also the map looked small, because the minimap is always limited to the current area. It is actually WAY bigger. About the Terrain. Point taken, I have someone reworking the terrain for me. Most of the terrain was redone already in fact, I just didn't go to these areas in the vid. My bad.

ORPG i expect to be epic, choosing a plot line is fun, but only if the game play around it is fantastic. I would look for some creative way to do the battles/ other systems.
People seem to translate the O in ORPG to Open. I always thought it just meant Online, but if it's such a hassle I'll gladly rename it to Warlords RPG.
Also, note that the map is still in the early alpha..It is nowhere near finished.

but you are writing it like it is an OPEN rpg.. Open means that the standard quest line does not need to be followed. You can go anywhere instead of the game deciding where you go next.
I would just look at adding more systems in the game.. The problem abour RPGs is that if you don't have uniqueness inter-graded into the game, and create many systems. Then people will see it as lacking, its just something the public as come to expect with rpgs. If they don't see this no one will play it.
I think the reason for this is because it takes much more dedication to play a rpg, so you really need to hold the attention of the player or they won't want to put forth any dedication.

also: how much customatization will we have? once we reach lvl cap itll get boring lack of replayability. perhaps make something that we can use to become INFINETLY POWERFULL!!! MUWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!... wait sorry bout that. but yea a stat or skill system that has no limit (see galaxy rpg the rpg )also alignment (good-evil) seems to easy to change.

It works like this: Your monsters can reach "only" level 30, but you can combine them with other monsters at any point, which is when they will start over at level 1. However every fusion increases their "Fusion Level" which grants them better stats, better skills and also allows new combinations of monsters!

Hello there, I came upon this game and see a lot of potential in it, although I have little skill in terrain or programming I would like to help test this game out and give feedback so this rpg can improve so I'll leave my username, friend code below and sever below:

Also: I'm currently working on data-based unit control: For example a defensive stance which will keep your monsters/followers around your warlord in order to defend him. Hopefully this will make monster control easier.
1) I have this Drone Monster (The Zerg Drone) That does not automatically attack like other units do, I have to tell it to attack a unit or else it will do nothing.
2) The Changling Monster (Gust I believe) Has a heal ability, however when I set it to automatic it does not heal any damaged units.
Edit: I'm also wondering if its possible to have the map opened on Starcraft. Once you left my computer came off again. Wouldn't it be better if people to play it without needed someone to put them in? So the can find glitches faster and it would also allow party's to join in the game and I know a few people who may like to try it out.
1) I have had that bug for a while now, It's obviously the drone AI that causes it, yet I fail to find the solution. -_-

2) I'll look into it.
About the public beta: I want to release a public beta soon, but before that I'll make sure to implement more quests, ranks and the missing items. I also want to rewrite the story completely before releasing anything. Feel free to send me a message if you have people who would like to try it out, though! And thanks for the testing today, it was fun.

maybe you have to change the way he reacts on attacking enemy's there's an setting for that if im right
