Hey guys,
my current project - Warlords ORPG - is progressing nicely and I felt like presenting it to the community.
I know the trailer doesn't say much about the actual gameplay, so that's the first thing I want to cover: Basically in Warlords ORPG you control one main hero, who can not fight at all. But he's capable of controlling three monsters, which are heroes as well. The game is about catching new monsters, leveling, gearing and fusing them to evolve into even stronger and rarer ones. This idea is mainly from Monster Master RPG by Robbepop (back in Warcraft 3).
I took his concept and added a few new key elements:
Every action has influence: Whatever you do in Warlords ORPG will be rated good or evil and the story will evolve in the according direction. I hope to increase the replay value.
Evil and good heroes may join forces with the human or zerg and engage in the war actively. This will be a pain to balance, but will also create some diversion from the standard ORPG routine.
Every player can design a personal home for their monsters, where they can heal, train or just relax. Personal homes are of course saved.
I will add gameplay videos of certain aspects as the game is getting more polished and then I will hopefully soon be able to start testing. Tester are always welcome, of course.

This is really too bad, since I'm very much aware that my terraining skills are mediocre at best...
hi ive found the reason why it laggs while i was watching the replay :).
the reason why it laggs is (i think) because there are hundreds of useless units wandering the whole game.
it would work better if they would be loaded if the player was in that zone.

I'm happy to announce that o3210 has officially started working on the terrain of the map! :-)
Also, testers are still needed!
Here's the first gameplay video of the map. I basically show the first 15 minutes and introduce some of the main parts of the map.
Set your volume as high as possible and watch in 1080HD! :-)
I can help test, I've been waiting for Orpgs to start showing up and it'll be cool if I could help.

Uhm, could you be a little more specific? "Hundreds of useless units" is a bad point to start fixing things. ;-)
ok i mean the units of the war cinematic are active the whole game and they only need to be active if there are players in the warzone
