This is an horror map designed to make you scream and run in fear :P
You must control your hero and survive longer as possible against the incoming waves of zombies.
The idea is taken from Call of Duty Nazi Zombies mod.

Creepy lightning system that requires lights to spot enemies
Repairable barricades to block incoming waves of zombies
Weapon buy and swap system
1 to 4 players cooperative gameplay balanced on the amount of players

I played it and was really impressed. It was really polished and fun to play. So sad there were only 3 types of units and at the end that was a little boring (the last waves are pretty intense though)
Hey Bibendus, love the map :) Some suggestions to make the zombies more interesting would be to maybe take some idea's from Killing Floor or Left 4 Dead 2.
I started working on it from 6 days so I have big plans for it ;)
I play L4D2 too so I know how it works, I think i will add some of that zombies but not all cause the game can be single player too and if you get disabled alone you are fucked up ;)
My idea is to mix the gameplay of Cod Nazi Zombies (room defend, barricades, rooms unlock with new weapons),Left4Dead (Different type of zombies) and Alien Swarm (classes with special abilities).
Add some cool lightning and special equipment and here it is the perfect zombie game! :D
I'm going to add more playable levels with different environments and maybe I will add a sort of objective type map like L4D

Well, I basically played it with a bunch of noobs who didn't know what end of their gun the bullets come out.
What I liked was the lighting and the limited field of vision (less vision of anything in your back?). And that Egon had a gun :D
But the map's a little confusing to me. For example I didn't see anything of items or other weapons, and I thought the revive system is bugged since the timer expires and then the fallen hero dies completely (in the campaign they revive after the timer runs out). That also made the others pretty much leave instantly after they got taken down.
So I think it would be great to have a couple of tips in the loading screen or have them be displayed during the first few minutes.
The revive system is in the todo list ;)

You disabled the auto attack feature with the intention of forcing the player to manually target, however you can still a-move your hero and he will still auto-target enemies.
This really trivialises the game.
Also, you can get your hero stuck inside the barricade. He becomes completely untargettable and hence you cannot get him out of the barricade.

In the previous version the attack system forced you to attack each target but it was too boring so I decided to make it as it is now. The hero doesn't respond automatically but you can target ground with attacks.
The hero freeze is a well known bug, unfortunately I can't reproduce it to make a fix.
Yes obviously I'm forced to remove the control of unt or you can order it to continue moving forward.
Maybe the problem is that the unit somehow doesn't come out from the region and then you don't get the control back.
Played this game last week I think, it was quite alright but 2 people left early and somehow if you put a hero right behind a block the units tried to go to the hero instead of attacking the blocking debris. I don't know if it's fixed but it could turn out to be a nice game.

Maybe the problem is that the unit somehow doesn't come out from the region and then you don't get the control back.
The problem is that you CAN continue moving forward, that's why the bug occurs.
Should just use instant move. It's immersion breaking enough that you get control wrested from you, instantly moving your hero isn't going to do much more damage.
Hey, great map, been having fun. Sometimes, you lose your weapons. This happens when you just bought one or you swap (I think).
Is this an intended feature (and if so, how does it happen) or is it a bug?
When you buy a third weapon the second one get deleted and the first goes swapped to the second place.
Now you can drop items but it should be disabled :|
One small thing should be to change the Camera area to only the region you're in, a la the Avernus map "Ghost of a Chance".. so that the mini-map only shows the region you're in, hiding other areas of the map until they're accessible.

Some good ones would be:
L4D2 - Spitter which drops a pool of acid on a player forcing them to move out of it.
KF/L4D2 - Bloat/Boomer which explode upon death
L4D2 - Hunter and Smoker which disable a player until they are freed by a teammate and then add a help teammates ability to each hero?
L4D2 - Charger which you can sidestep to avoid getting disabled/hit
KF - Fleshpound which gets faster/more attack when you damage it.
Hopefully any of these will add for more interesting gameplay features which will keep players on their toes. Even maybe add a boss wave or 2?

Select a hero, walk him next to a barricade and spam move into the barricade. Works for me, fluke or not.
Do you have a trigger that makes the hero uncommandable while he is forced to move out of the barricade? If so, I'd wager that was the problem.

give some abilties to the medic guy, hes a serious borefest.
