enfo's team survival from wc3. 2 teams fight against an endless spawn of units, the team that is able to hold out longer wins. featured alot of heroes and items. there is no such map in sc2 yet (prolly because making heroes takes ages and item shops are a pain in the ass)
Make a hero escape map. You got a hero and you solve puzzles. When I say puzzle I mean things like an obstacle course where you need to time your movements or be exploded, or a piece of stage where enemies rush at you and you need properly utilize terrain/abilities or you're murdered.
Game is split into stages and passing these stages requires analyzing them and finding strategy to beat it. It would be a map that incorporate elements of various other genres, but in a way that suits it, for example you can have RPG-like combat but without grind, a TD-like/wave survival segment but without repetitiveness. A little bit of everything, a game, an adventure where you don't really know what to expect around the corner, but you know that it's probably gonna be awesome. Tho I imagine that it greatly depends on ones level designing skills, so it might be a bit too much of undertaking =(
How about a map where you start outside of a Terran city as a larva eating animals and you grow in size as you eat until you become a giant ultralisk and can destroy buildings and eat the people that run out of them for points. As the defense force attacks you you lose size again and have to run away to regain your wrecking power. The player to eat 100 Terrans first wins the game.
I always wanted to do a game based within a detail terran city with a day/night cycle (for aggression) were players have to collect supplies to build things or ammo to help them survive the zombie apocalypse. The items would be largely scatters and if you large supplies of the same items to make it so teaming up would help. You would have a bag of like only 5 slots but you then add the right recipe to give you charges on your abilities for your class of hero. Granted I've got the skills but already have so many projects I had to put this one the back burner; if you do decided on something like this I'd loved to be involved.
I actually had a quick look at a youtube video of yours; Its close but not quite like my idea. I was thinking something for akin to troll tribes meets zombies. Bigger and more detail map with more recipe like abilities and less forgetting (at least a staying still).
On a second note, I could use a driving system within incorporated drifting and collisions. Been thinking about a bumper cars style king of the mountain game.
