I made an upgrade for banelings that increases the radius of explosions. The ability range is increased but the visuals stay the same as before. I know I must change the Art:Scale field of the model of baneling exploding but I do not know how to set it up so it changes when my bigger explosion upgrade completes.
I would suggest taking a look at the campaign dependencies, and look at how blizzard set up the hots baneling upgrades, as both change the explosion model.
Be sure to check out the extension mod: Hots Custom Map support on NA and EU, Despite the name it greatly expands the roster of options for the default 3 races and is updated all the way to NCO.

Its under "upgrade" data type. You increase the scale of the actor the same way youd increase damage by 1 with a weapon uprade.
