From the way blizzard made it sound I would have thought it would have came out with 1.5 but nope. So I'm just losing hope in ever seeing this for WoL or even HotS. Why would they bring it up when WoL was out if they weren't going to release it in WoL?
Keep in mind that Blizzard Allstars will be available for free, because it comes with the starcraft 2 starter edition. Because of this, there isn't really a need to release it alongside something else; it can almost stand as it's own game.

To make it clear for everyone: Blizzard Allstars will not require you to buy ANY starcraft game. I'm not sure how starter accounts work, but you might not even need ANY blizzard game at all
I believe so, but knowing NEW blizzard, HoTS and WoL will be 1 battle.net, but HoTS maps will be greyed out, and people like myself will get just a little more annoyed haha.

The game has change a whole lot since it was first annouced, and many assets aren't there anymore, such as the modified structures (merc compound with a sword above it; barracks with medieval towers) and doodads and all kinds of stuff.

At BlizzCon they said they'd allow it to be published unlocked so mappers could learn from it... Now this was originally the goal because it was just going to be a cool custom mod, whether or not they'll keep it this way is going to have to be seen, although I have to imagine it will be unlocked (and assets will be available).
@Sixen: Go Yeah, I believe the assets used by the final version will be avaiable. But many more won't be used by the final version, and those are the ones I'm afraid we won't have access to.
