You could give the scv an inventory and have those as items. I know you can somehow detect it in actor evens and then guive an graphic attachment to the model the item uses, much in the same way harvested mineral look.
You can do it if you can find the actor model for the mineral or whatever you want him to "hold". However the problem I'm having is removing the actor once the "item" is no longer there.

Hey does anyone know how to create a pickup-able item like in SC1? This has kind of got me stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
