either im blind or what but i cant find anything thats able to issue an attack on a player thru triggers cuz i have a 10 player map with a region to spawn zombies but they wont atk the players. the players have no buildings just a unit hero.
how that part is simple they spawn in the region. and players marine are spawned from a region at the start too. hold tho ima try something, see i found some sort of attack but it makes the unit attack themselves too.
if this test im doing now doesnt work ill upload it.
there u guys go. yes it looks pretty gay on how i spawn them but it works the way i need it lol. the map isnt made yet cuz i like doing scripts 1st then the map after it.
how do new maps get top 30 soo fast in day im curious to know how these ppl do that.
also i just changed attack from baneling to normal lol i just found that
I gave all ur zombies AI, a 1000 sight radius, weapons and cigarettes (jokes)
i then changed all ur issue attack orders to issue order: attack, targetting unit group: units selected by player 1.
Note, that weird selected by player 1 thingy was cause i was so confused as to why ur zombies werent attacking. Anyway, the main part is giving ur zombies 1000 sight radius for several reasons, weapons (obvious) and preferabbly an AI.
what i need to know is how the hell u flagged the infested terran AI thru triggers cuz my issue right now is that they goto the units position not chase it.
aiight ill add u in a bit, but for now ill upload the map so u can see what ive done.
One thing i havent done: is when one of the units die, for the zombies to redirect their attacks to a different unit.
However the zombies shud 100% attack a random unit
Another bug: some of the zombies wud stop like 9 units away from the unit. Maybe its their AI butting in.
(BTW, i sped up the terran movement to 5 so ur gonna need to slow that back down, and i also decreased the wave start to 5 (so i cud speed up the bug testing))
Event: every 0.1 seconds
1. Pick each unit in region entire map, player ZOMBIE...
Set Variable Minradius (real) = 0
2. Convert circle to region, point position of picked unit, radius 10
3. pick each unit in this region...
4. if then else, player owner of picked unit != ZOMBIE
If you need zombie to attack closest unit then
if MinRadius > distance from points position of picked unit and point center of region (circle) then
MinRadius = distance from points position of picked unit and point center of region (circle)
NearestUnit(unit)=picked unit
5. after this pick unit cycle, do
if MinRadius > 0 and
NearestUnit is valid then
Order picked unit to attack target Nearest Unit.
If you want to order attack only when zombie lose its target, then make check
Unit is in UnitGroup Idle Unit (include all unit, not only workers) == true

i figured out why my triggers werent working
ur infested lameo's dont have guns
give them a weapon so they can actually shoot stuff?

Heres what i did:
