Dear Deahtorn. I could use some help. I am currently in the very beginning stages of my game. The only problem i am having right now is with the dialogs. I can create the buttons and such but I cannot seem to get abilities to cast when i click on one. If you could help in some way that would be greatly appreciated.
It depends on what you're trying to accomplish with casting abilities, do you want to cast an ability on the same unit when pressed? Or is it some area of effect damage?
I have a drakken laser drill which I want to automatically fire upon any air unit that comes within 50 or so range of it (that is assuming weapon range units are equal to sight radius units). My problem is that the AI doesn't attack it until the unit is in its own sight range, which is at maximum 32.
I tried starting an AI for player 15, then issuing the attack order on any unit that enters the region, but it's not working, even with a bunker spotting for it.
I'd really like for this to work, otherwise i'll have to replace the drill with 20 missile turrets to cover the area

Sorry to say it but the harvester counter doesnt work with zerg. It fails to decrease when a drone is transformed into a building. I changed the condition to "any unit is being removed from the game" and it still doesnt work correctly.
I'm also trying to have the counters in the top left of the screen, "Harvesters= #" and "Avg APM = #".
STARCODE is a library designed to compress integers into strings. You can give as many integers to STARCODE as you want to and it will turn them into a string as small as possible. These strings can then be stored in banks and later retrieved, decompressed and the integers can be read again.
I Don't know much about triggers and i know even less about saving data into a bank but i posted a thread the other day asking for advice in the area of saving data through triggers and they pointed me to that thread so yea, any help i can get will be greatly appreciated
