I have problems with banks loading, it seems like many times they arent loaded on 2 of my map.
On my pictionary it has like 30%.
And on my Split TD map it has about 10% chance. Which is interesting as until I added some more stuff to save, it was working right on Split TD. (it loads 27 integer value / person)
I dont want to paste my code here as it is lot, but I welcome any suggestion that may cause it or someone who is very experienced to check it on my maps. (I warn that its triggers are chaotic.D)
Banks load depending on what account you're using and whether you are testing. For example, testing directly out of the editor (as Local Player) will load one set of banks. Testing on battle.net using the Test Play button uses another set of banks. Finally, actually playing a published version of the map on battle.net will use its own bank files.
that is weird man....iv seen some random bugs in the editor that just tend to happen and iv even had to load an old old backup and redo all the shit i had done....did nothing different and magically i wouldnt have the problem the next time. But in my experience with banks iv never had a problem with them not loading. so either somethings wrong code wise or its just straight bugging out( which is a good possibility) only thing i can think of at that point is to load an old backup. Cus honestly bank saves are a huge part of a map. And u probably dont wanna move forward until this bug is fixed somehow...
My bank didnt loaded again.
Now I changed some stuff in the loading, like I put every load bank action in the melee initialization trigger.
(I also switched the dependencies than saved it and switched it back than saved it again, who knows.D)
I think it might have to do something with the bank size, the bigger is the bank the more chance it wont load.... :(
7 units with exp, items, abilities. 5 to 50 Buildings with each two coodinates. A few quest and player related informations. So yeah, a lot. =/
The frustrating thing really is that it works perfectly so often. Personally I find it hard to work on the problem when it works most of the time and then just a few times not...
i noticed that some triggers dont work correctly somethimes when u have them in a wrong folder
i mean i got on top allways map inizial when i put under map init my thor suit stuff the thor suit stuff works but when i place the spawning folder bevore the suit stuff some stuff from suit stuff dont works
so maybe try to place the triggers in different places
I think what I do in Death Haven is preload and sync on map init for all the banks for all the players... then have another trigger that runs at time elapsed of 0.0s, pick each player and open the bank for them, store that opened bank in a variable for each player (global bank var).
Then store/save as necessary, and note that my loading of values happens after my ^ trigger.
I changed to that 1 day ago, I hope it will work, before that I loaded my banks after melee initialization trigger.
(I also removed bank signature, it doesnt protects much anyway)
you store banks in 1 global variable (I dont know if its even possible) or in array for each player?

Same issue for me. Not 10% but maybe 70%. Which is still way too much.
