It would be incredibly useful in some situations. For example, I'm working on an RPG, and it would be REALLY convenient to make an "Armor Type" var type that acts like a boolean, but rather than True or False, it can be set to Helm, Shoulders, Chest, Legs, or Feet (only one). This would cut down on possible errors that I know will arise when I use a String var Armor Type :/
just right click and create a new record in the trigger tree inside the record you can add what ever variables you like. the gui is pretty easy to figure out.
my game sprite's quest has a variable type map. which holds the data for an area inside or out. it holds:
exit regions
exit destinations
entry points
units
npc
the area layout
What your actually looking for is a preset; not a record which is basically a variable inside of variable. A preset will allow you to set the options of your own variable.
Can anyone give a detailed example of preset usage? I might be interested too. Also have a question: is there any way to dynamicaly control max array size?

well shit, i thought he wanted a variable to store armor types not a variable for a armor type....
you use presets all the time in gui. example:
Create "Modal" Doalog of size (500, 400) at (0,0) realitive to "center" of screen.
Modal and center are presets which get passed to the scripts that makes dialogs.(although modal doesnt do anything)
presets are not a necessary thing, but are useful when you have a list of options and you don't want to use 1-10 to represent each option. instead you can make a preset with 10 options that have appropriate names.

Yeah he is looking for Presets, but if he wants to go very dynamic on it, he may want to check Datatables.

Perfect! Thank you very much :)
