Glad to see a real modeller shares my opinion and may work on new versions of old units. All I could do was a simple Dropship and that half-assed hydralisk. Also I don't think it's the best decision to work on units that might appear in HoTS. Units like the Defiler may see the light from Blizzard so I wouldn't suggest it. I hope it comes based on the SC2 Defiler concept made by Mr Jack.

I redid the entire dragoon unit to be waaaay more SC2
But yeah I'm not going to redo all of the BW units but I don't like them looking so put of place. Also I kind of feel like if they had defiler and devourer samples that we'll see them in HOTS
And don't give up I started off modifying a ghost 1000 times just to take off the backpack
Just for you to know, the Bone Wasp has a little flaw in it's left "arm" spike, the tip of the spike is squarish.
Ohh man I just wish the blender addon were as good as the max addon. Some of the changes you made to the Ultralisk are exactly what I thought for it. Even though I'm just learning how to work with these models I already feel hindered by the addon limitations. Are you reading it PrintIn? I hope so, go on and improve it! XD
That being said I do like how it looks and may or may not decide to work on it. Zerg stuff is pissing me off though because every part needs an animation that will break if you move it aaaaaaaaaaaah!
a neat trick for this is to use a Skin Wrap modifier, it transfers skin weights from one mesh to another, so you can do edits that would normally break the rigg and just re-apply after.
here a tutorial on Skin Wrap:
NOTE: if you use this for SC2 models you will have to greatly increase the size of the models before applying because it works off pixels instead of world space.

Dustin Browder considers it unlikely that devourers will appear in the campaign of Heart of the Swarm. Partly because it's not "cool" enough in his mind, partly because there is little use for air-to-air units in the campaign.[6]

also nice dragoon but i think you need to rescale that ghost eye (ocular) but thats my opinion
and THANKS FOR FATTY MAN I LOVE iT à little sugestion remove the team colour but maybe someone else can do that and maybe 2 talk animations but now im happy yet
little sugestion make a swarm guardian potrait than the guardian unit is complete (wireframe is in the editor unit icon created by alax attack can be made effect are also in sounds you can use from sc 1 or custom roars )
in my opinion make one with tail and one without for the classic guardian
oo and if you have make the soul-hunter 2.0 can you make also an warp in and placement model for warp gate and maybe an portrait ;)
The part that's the top of the science facility is actually meant to be a circular stairway. Oh, and the windows go on the cube part, not the other round part. :P
Wow that's a very well done academy :) and it has its Starcraft 2 carachteristics whitch it makes it even better. If you need a better refrence look at this model .
I've actually started on some more buildings that aren't SC1 buildings and a female DT which is not going well. I totally can't do a sunken colony at this point. I tried already but the animations are way too much for me to get it right.

Unless I'm very much mistaken it's the StarCraft 1 Academy which was a tech structure for the Firebat and used to research several infantry upgrades.
Very nice work on all your models Ghostnova. You've given me fresh inspiration to have a go with SC2 models :)
