I'm a little lost, I'm working on a mod that will require me to change the skin of a model, and make general modifications as well. When I import the m3 to Autodesk or use previewer it only shows a standing animation, I'm afraid that if I modify the character (IE: add a weapon model to it) it could mess the animation up. So my question is, where are the animation sequences and why arent they in previewer/autodesk?
edit
I wanted to mention that when I paste the model in the map and start, it has full walking animations, I just do not see the animations on the previewer/autodesk.
There should be a script called M3 Sequences that will allow you to quickly select and edit different animations.
The animations are on different time ranges on the time slider, so I assume your slider isn't displaying a large enough range for you to see all the animations. You will have to increase the range on your time slider.
Hello, I am afraid that for some Models the animations are stored in separate files. I believe these files have the .m3a file extenstion. as of writing this i have not found any method of editing them.
Though, said models are really rare and if you make your own model you can just animate it and use the M3 Sequences plugin to add animations to your model without the need of a .m3a file.
