Vortex of the Void
Introduction
Vortex of the Void is a 6 mission Protoss campaign about Tedis, a High Templar, and her hunt after Mal'Zar, who is attempting to resurrect his master Ulzar, The Dead God. This campaign takes place a few years after the largest Protoss battle in the galaxy took place: the Shadow Templar, Ulzar, was defeated on Aiur. Now his slave, Mal'Zar is gathering the shadow energy to bring his master back to life. His Rebirth can start a second eternal conflict. Hmm, it can be but today i have to release new update to balance the mission 5.
Narudek this is awesome. Speaking as someone who has loved the Protoss since the original SC1 first came out, and has been anticipating the Legacy of the Void release for years, THANK YOU! You and your team are doing a great job. Thank you for all the hard work you have been putting into something like this. I've loved it all!
Mass recall has a great dragoon model, but it starts to shows his age, 5 years for now, I think Narudek model is way better, a fresh and not immortal-ish design that I simply love.

The Dragoon model isn't terrible don't see why you hate it. I understand wanting to make your own units but why not take the base model and improve upon it instead making one from scratch.

- Are you kidding me? Mass Recall has terrible dragoon model and i wanted to create my own one.
I was wondering why did you make a custom Dragoon model if Mass Recall already had one. So far I've enjoyed the three missions but upgrade's need to carry over to the new custom units, the ravager needs to have the shields on the unit model, and heroes health bar is bugged. Just small tweaks but overall very good.
The voice acting for the game is coming guys. Be hype for next big update with new mission!

Thanks for review.
I played all 3 missions and I haven't found any bugs, which is quite good for new campaign, but there are some changes i would suggest.
In first mission we are introduced with new protoss unit, but when playing on brutal difficulty, they are practically useless, they get vaporized, it's just better to mass standard gateway units if you want to beat it, I have tried to beat it using ravager, but they are just too expensive, and not useful for they cost. Maybe add +1 range, or have upgrade on core, like dragoon has in BW, or less cost, maybe same as marauder.
Second mission is ok, you need good micro and patience till you get to your base, there you just sit, defend and mass up, maybe void harass could be harder over time to punish turtling.
Third mission is in my opinion the easiest of all, you can sit and defend, and after you destroy base on top left, and take it, no attack will come that way, and bottom left zerg doesn't do anything, I don't know if that was intentional, but maybe zerg can attack your expansion, just to make it more challenging.
Overall great campaign, cant wait for more missions.

Nobody presents the new unit, if you hold the mouse under or on the name, you will get description.
And i'm working on the update for demo and it takes long because want to change it really cool and make from the demo really playable action stuff.
Question about voices, I clearly hear it in mission's introduction (where it presents the new unit) but not during the game, is it normal? Is there any voices in game?
In first demo update will be replaced old immortal model with a new Vortex immortal model.
New stuff in first demo update

oh i know about it, its not bug :D it allows you to warp another units. (another types of units)
Hi Narudek! I want to say, I am very impressed about the first mission. I liked the new unit quite a lot. It felt like I had marauders in my protoss army and that was really cool. Just a small bug though. If I build the new unit and the new zealot from the warp gate, the warp gates do not have any cooldown after the units are warped. Apart from that, everything seemed ok. I am really looking forward to the next missions!!!!

I'll have to delay the comments and stuff to the far night as I'll be going medical in a couple of hours. However, judging by the first map's terrain, I'll get on it as soon as I can. And yes, that's a good thing. :)

:D ok ok I have to finish one model before demo will be avaible :D

I'll be looking forward to playing the three missions and reviewing them through a PM straight to you. (Because you'll want some beta tips I got.) I'm getting a bit overworked on my stuck-as-hell first mission of my own campaign and I need some distraction. As well as something to vent off.
Don't worry, the review will be as clear and non-angry as possible. I assure you.

Tomorrow you can enjoy demo :D (First 3 missions)
it will be published.
