Mission was cool and the inside of the hybrid lab felt sufficiently "sciency" but in terms of cliffs, especially for biotic landscapes, try to make them at a slant with the diamond-shaped cliff brush as opposed to the square one. For these biotic landscapes, you can also use the circular brush to make the cliffs random in shape. It gives a better perspective and to be honest, it's makes the map look more professional in terms of eye-candy. So far terrain is 7 or 8/10 and it's the gameplay mechanics that are perfect so far, in my opinion. The heroes (heroines?) have cool abilities as well, but maybe a health buff would be nice because the boss is so hard :)
I think it's because Nova Covert Ops is a DLC and its mod is just an Art mod. With respect to the missions, I have no idea but you should try looking under the Legacy of the Void mission dropdown. I think the Covert Ops missions are there. To activate the art mod, go to File>Dependencies>Add Standard>Nova (Art Mod)
If you want to use the Covert Ops skins, duplicate the corresponding unit (if you want) its actor, and its death actor. Go to the Actors tab, select the actors you created, and search "model" in box on the right-hand-side of the Data Editor (be in Table View). Then, double-click on the "Art: Model" tab and type "black ops" into the search box of the popup window. Choose the model you want for the live unit and unit death (i.e. MarauderBlackOps and MarauderBlackOps Death). When you've selected what you want, go back to the newly created unit and put your mouse inside the bottom-left box. Scroll down until you see the "Copy of Marauder" and "Copy of MarauderDeath" and just make sure you have the correct models set for those.
Finally, go to the Terrain Module. Search up your unit's name in the Units Tab and place them. You will know if you did this correctly if you have two units with the same name but different models.
Alright people my computer is pretty bad and apparently it falls short of the minimum requirements by quite alot. However, I can run the game with zero lag at 30 FPS on Medium - High settings when running maps from the editor. I get hardly 5 FPS when connected to Battle.net whether offline or online...
Do you ever get distracted because of SC2Mapster? I have AP tests for history and biology coming up but I can't resist the urge to peek at Mapster!
I've been studying since the winter break to leave myself well-prepared, so I've been doing gentle review since the start of May but still...I get distracted by stuff WAY too easily.
Well everyone crashes on the weekends. Parents cook something really good for dinner or take the family out, and the kids play games alone or with friends. If you're a member of the SC2Mapster community, you probably include StarCraft somewhere in your weekend. It's just how it is.
I think what deltronlive means is that you create a few triggers, one for each inequality/quantitative comparison of player 1 units with regards to the Conditions section. It might be along these lines:
Event: (really anything, probably enter region or kill unit, just make sure it runs once)
Variables: (None)
Conditions: Units Owned by player 1 < #
Actions: (I don't know off the top of my head for this one, I'm on my phone atm. There should be something to modify unit stats though)
Also, in most boss battles like this, the player gets a few units right before (s)he enters the arena. Maybe that's something to consider for the future if you do more boss battles.
Mission 1 is officially online in the first full release! That is, there aren't any pesky bugs, especially with that wave system. I will be starting work on Mission 2 soon. You'll get a first look at the protagonist, Praetor Hanoth, in the second mission.

I love his theory videos. After all of them either I've thought the exact same way or I'm like "omfg why didn't I see that?"

Yeah the Nerazim Void Ray was a good decision. Just another reason why I love the Nerazim faction units.
0
Which Void Ray is better for the last mission (Salvation)? The Shakuras, Aiur, or Tal'darim one?
P.S. Does anybody happen to have the Void Ray model back from the SC2 beta when it was called the Warp Ray

Great idea for the boss, deltronlive! +1
