Go to "Window" and select your map (it shows all currently-opened files at the bottom, below all the other options). Then Go to "File -> Close". This will only close your mapfile and switch back to your dependency file which is still open.
It may be because you do not have the blizzard authenticator, the website found here, there is also a phone app. I can not confirm that this is the solution to the issue, but it worked for me. When I opened the editor and went to open a file to log in and entered my details, it immediately gave me a code (sadly I can not show you the code page, it is just logging in without it now because it remembers 'safe' locations) and I went onto the app on my phone and allowed the login. Not sure why it is like this, as the authenticator is only optional. I hope this helps.
I've never used the authenticator, and after logging-in once it worked just fine for me. I start the editor and can open any map normally.
Do NOT try to log-in when trying to open a map after just opening the editor.
After starting the editor, try to log-in at either the "File -> Open -> Blizzard" tab, or the "Manage Published" tab.
If that still doesn't work, the one thing that comes to mind is that you might have different usernames in different regions. I remember this was a thing when Blizzard got rid of a region (SEA I think) and I had to tell the game which of the usernames is my main account.
You have to open the game normally and go to each region, and check if the game asks you to confirm this. Either there, or when logging-in via the editor.
Ever since yesterday, the forum uses your Twitch username and avatar picture. Go to your Twitch account settings and change the avatar there. (You need to be logged-in on Twitch for this obviously).
What you're seeing are default avatars for new Twitch users. Curseforge required you to merge your old curse account and a Twitch account some time ago.
Even after you've merged your account, you used to be able to log-in to the forums with your old account and just ignoring the message about using your Twitch account instead (after logging-in, just open a new tab). Or in my case, never logout and don't delete cookies, thus remaining logged-in forever.
But as of yesterday, it seems like the system now uses your Twitch username and avatar regardless. All these users whose new avatars you're seeing probably have created a Twitch account in the past for the merger and never used it.
Bottom line, you need to own the campaigns in order to use their dependencies. Wings of Liberty was being made free some time ago, but both Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void dependencies are still locked behind the purchase.
You need to give each unit you want to use two weapons. One weapon only works at melee range, and the other one only works at a certain range.
The hydralisk has this already. The damage is the same, but depending on the range, the unit will either fire projectiles, or use its arms to attack melee enemies.
The big problem, of course, is that it requires a lot of work. You need to duplicate each weapon and need to change the actor events of the unit's actor to use animations for the new weapon as well. But otherwise it's doable.
PS: You can hide weapons, so the game only shows the weapon with the ranged attack, but not the melee range weapon. There should be an option for this in the weapon flag.

Alternatively, just click on "File" -> "Open", select the "Blizzard" category and log-in here instead.
As long as you log-in with your account somewhere in the editor, it should work.

Everything looks fine on my end, however I also still have an old installation of the game.
Maybe you have to log-in first for the editor to show these options.

If there is no news on their project page, then I guess the release date is still "when it's done".

Use google, type "site:Sc2mapster.com" and then your search terms. Works like a charm!

Actually no, the correct reference should be "Behavior,FaithLVL1,Modification.VitalMaxArray[Shields]".

I don't think so. Buttons always refer to a fixed type of information.

You're doing a lot of great work despite only using Blender, though!
