Didn't purchase the Abathur co-op DLC? Well here's your chance to try him out for free! CybrosX has released his Evolution of the Swarm campaign, which follows Abathur after the events of LotV. Use his toxic nest and mend abilities and upgrade your units by gathering that all important essence! Fully voice acted as well! Also, check out my test playthrough below and that pro-level burrow micro ;)

Are the other shrines marked on the map? The only beacons I could find are for the shrine and obelisk on the left side of the map, plus the one for the lightbridge.

I would say the beginning part defintiely needs to be changed. Seems like no one has been able to get past even the first section of your map. Just try to make it more clear and/or easier for what the player is supposed to do or where to go.

Since the title of this map has the word "Survival" in it, I would expect most players are going to want to play some sort of holdout or survival map. They are either going to be really confused on the map type with this beginning section you have added or are just going to quit the map when it is not what they expected.

Yeah I'm not sure what happened to this map. I was expecting something like this:

Seems like the mapmaker has added a beginning part that is completely confusing and/or broken. Or we are all playing the wrong map haha.

Has anyone tried this yet? If so, any help/tips on getting past the first part?

I may just be dumb, but after putting a Stalker on the Shrine beacon and then a probe on the Obelisk beacon, it warps my stalker over to the Lightbridge, but it doesn't seem to activate the bridge at all.

Edriahno, I have a video of Mission 7 that will be up on my channel today. I ended up splitting the video into two parts with the second part coming tomorrow. I have a lot of suggestions that I hope help you out with making changes to this map.

Current upload schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 12:30 pm EST. I plan on uploading the rest of Replicant, but I might mix in Hammer of Dawn, Lifeforce, or another campaign. I will probably wait until after Replicant to play WWBitT. A lot of campaigns to play!

Test playthrough of Starcraft: Replicant. The first mission is actually the first recorded campaign test playthrough I ever did so I hope you all enjoy it. Every mission has been updated since I played them, so I suggest downloading this campaign and playing it for yourself. You can really see the growth that Hultmanable has made since his Pandora campaign. Expect all 10 Protoss missions to be uploaded within the next 3-4 weeks.

Mission 12 is really the first map of this campaign that you've liked? You are very tough to please..

Thanks for playing and testing these maps. There is no difficulty selection but I feel like this campaign is fairly well balanced, although things like being able to warp in 3 dragoons with no cooldowns needs to be fixed. Some of these missions are pretty difficult, some are easier, but none of them were frustratingly tough, at least to me. I think the main draws to this campaign are the story and the gameplay as every mission (maybe excluding the first one) has a unique gameplay mechanic to it.

Also, it's great that you found a bug, but obviously you weren't meant to warp in 3 dragoons from 1 warpgate with no cooldown. You could have simply mentioned the bug and that you found the mission easy probably because of the bug. It does no good to anyone for you to say that the mission is stupid. If you still think it would have been too easy if the bug didn't exist, give productive feedback.

Did you figure out the launcher file path triggering that I suggested?

Looks really nice! Can't wait to play it! The reclaim ability seems like it'll be fun to use, and I really like the style of the dialogue boxes you use. Something new.

Im not to familiar with this, but I have used the name of the map only, like ReplicantP1. If i put my maps in the map folder (not the one in document) then it works for me, do you mean that I should add something more?

I would look at Discord and how he does it. Basically just copy that. It's nice to have your maps in a separate subfolder within the Maps folder to organize things. Here's the readme file from Discord which does a good job of explaining to the player how to setup their folders.

-"Discord Launcher.SC2Map" to Maps/Discord in your Starcraft II directory

-"Discord T XX.SC2Map" to Maps/Discord/Terran in your Starcraft II directory (XX refers to any numbered map.)

You likely won't have some of these folder locations in your Starcraft II directory already so create the folders manually. If you do not place the files in the correct locations then the launcher will not work properly. However, as long as the mod is in the correct position you can start each map separately from the editor if you wish.

I am endeavoring to create a series of at least 3 custom campaigns.

My suggestion is to start out small. It's good you have high aspirations, but just focus on one campaign to start and see how it goes from there. And just make whatever you are passionate about.

I'm assuming both of you don't have the Nova DLC? Can anyone else that doesn't have the Nova DLC open up Mission 1?
